This leading golf and health club is set in 180 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, just over the Tamar Bridge. Guests have free use of the China Fleet County Club’s recreational facilities; these include a 27-yard pool, fitness suite, racquet sports, and the Heatwaves Retreat. The hotel also boasts a championship golf course and a 28-bay floodlit driving range. The spacious apartments are equipped with free broadband, satellite TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. For two people, the accommodation was very comfortable and well-equipped, and the location was ideal both for the family wedding we were attending and for a day's exploration of the coast. Staff were, without exception, excellent in manner and helpfulness, and I thought our stay was very good value for money.

I liked the swimming pool and spa arrangements and my grandson loved the flume. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. There was a lovely feeling of comfort and space about the place, and plenty of opportunities for meals and refreshments. The bath was not very clean. I think it would be nice if the hotel had a separate bar.

Public areas, gym, pool, restaurant and bar are fantastic especially the gym - state of the art equipment! I believe some rooms have had a face lift, the CFCB needs to get a move on and finish the lot as its letting them down at the moment! I stayed at the China Fleet about 12 years ago now and the room had the same decor, now very very tired and in desparate need of a freshen up.

De kamers ( studiovorm) zijn ruim en voorzien van alle comfort en het is er bijzonder rustig met goede bedden Het hotel en de studios werden waarschijnlijk nog niet zolang geleden aan de binnenzijde volledig vernieuwd en zijn prachtig het enige wat ons tegenviel is dat de buitenzijde totaal verwaarloosd wordt ,de trappen en plaveien naar de studios werden wellicht al maanden niet meer geveegd wat bij aankomst zorgt voor een reactie als " in welk verloederd oud resort zijn we hier terechtgekomen.. Gelukkig verdwijnt deze eerste slechte indruk na het openen van de deur van de kamer.
