Room was very comfortable and clean. We were made very welcome. It was an easy walk into the town and parking was good. Breakfast of a high quality.

OUTSTANDING accommodation. Couldn't have been more friendly or welcoming and the level of service was excellent. Room immaculate and well presented, facilities superb and the breakfasts were amazing!! Great location too for a lovely town. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I had trouble connecting to the wifi but the friend I attended with didn't so it may have just been my server provider

We were made very welcome at The Chinthurst. Hazel was very helpful in providing information on the area and recommending restaurants. Breakfasts were of a very high standard and choice. We enjoyed the home-made preserves.

The interior of the house was beautiful & immaculate, tasty breakfasts ,especially the choice, homemade bread & preserves.Comfortable rooms.

The owners had dogs roaming about,it even followed us into our room which i did'nt like, the landlady was a bit abrupt at first but once you got talking to her a bit more she softened a bit.

Absolutely first class welcome.Room was spotlessly clean and quite adequate for our stay. Loved the white company toiletries. Breakfast was outstanding.Have sourced the granola and are having it sent to us.

It was a very hot day and the window didn't give enough air to the room. But willing to accept that the weather was exceptionally hot.

The quiet location yet so close to the centre of town. Breakfast selection was good.

Bathroom needed more shelves - we ended up with washbags on the floor. The shelf over the sink was at an akward height so you hit your head. Disliked the mixer tap design as it was right over the plughole

We were greeted by the owner Hazel and she made us very welcome. She showed us a street map of Skipton and marked restaurants and public houses, this we found very helpful. Then we proceeded to our beautiful room, which was spotless and the ensuite was spotless too. We were very impressed with it all. The breakfast was excellent there were so many different jams and preserves that we were spoilt for choice. We shall definitely book there again when we next visit Skipton. We can recommend this establishment everything was spot on.

The welcome was excellent, my husband has mobility problems and due roadworks in preparation for the 'Tour de France' going past the entrance we were unable to go out at night, but we could purchase chilled wine or snacks. There was plenty of tea/coffee all day. There was plenty of choice on the Breakfast menu, including a wide selection of marmalades. A good nights sleep in a really comfy bed.

A very steep drive, which made parking the car awkward, and walking was difficult for my husband as he uses crutches. We had not been warned that there was roadworks from 7pm- 6am each night outside the guest house due to the 'Tour de France' which meant we were unable to go for an evening meal as the car had to be parked up by 7pm. This omission was not the fault of the Guest House owner but Booking.com also I had requested extra pillows this had not been past on.

We were given an excellent and spacious room in the Coach House (a family room in fact) because we asked for a twin room if one became available. An extensive choice for breakfast including "The best fruit salad I have ever tasted" according to "she who must be obeyed"

Not being able to eat the fruit salad because of medical problems.

Hazel was very friendly and helpful and the location was just what we needed. The breakfast was very well done and with lots of choice. Bathroom was spotless and well equipped.

We asked for a garden room and the room we were given, maybe because it was the only one with twin beds?, was very dark and had a 12 foot red brick wall a narrow path distance from our window. There was a stale, musty not sure what smell in the room. Not what we were expecting from the website.
