I liked this hotel. As a business traveller I stay in different hotels 4 nights a week; but this was one of the better ones; a nice country house hotel set in its own grounds, which made it very quiet and peaceful. Yet it was only a few minutes from Jnt 15 of the M4. Room was traditionally furnished, but very large and comfortable. Food was very good too. |

Friendly staff and welcome. The closeness to where I had my business meetings was ideal and the location gave the relaxing feeling of a country hotel |

The hotel offered great value for money with a large bedroom (for single occupancy) and luxury bathroom. The Wifi in the room worked well and the room service meal that I ordered was excellent. Breakfast included in the price was also excellent The glasses in the room needed a good clean before use |

Really liked the fact that this is not a typical chain hotel, much more personal than most a little dated in places and quircky, plumbing could do with an update, hot water does come but you have to wait a long time for it, and shower pressure poor |

Hotel is quiet and very comfortable and in a connvenient location. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food very good. A real alternative to 'chain' hotels. One or two 'interesting' fittings in the room but not drastic for an overnight stay. |

Friendly staff, lovely surroundings, large bedroom and bathroom, tastefully furnished and decorated. Food well cooked and served by friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. I wish I knew the hairdryer was in a drawer. Very old fashioned lock on bedroom door. You need a key to get into hotel if wanting to stay out after 11pm. But staff were very polite and helpful and this did not really spoil our stay. |

It was quiet and peaceful. The room and bathroom size were exceptional for a three star hotel - I have had smaller rooms in 4 and 5 star rated hotels even when paying supplements for upgraded facilities |

Room was excellent Lack of water pressure - shower was little more than a dribble. The free wireless wasn't really usable, it was either extremely slow or kept kicking me off. |

Excellent breakfast. Great surroundings. Lovely big room Room was a little 'tired' in its furnishings and the bed on castors moved! |

The environment The breakfast brought to the hotel wasn't value for money at all, we've had a lot better. We expected more breakfast, and some stuff wasn't brought up to the the room so we had to ask for extra things. |
