This is a very comfortable hotel with a excellent restaurant. It's like a good rural French Logis de France hotel - comfort, facilities, food without the tick box approach of a chain hotel. I've stayed here on business and would use it for a weekend away from London. |

I liked this hotel. As a business traveller I stay in different hotels 4 nights a week; but this was one of the better ones; a nice country house hotel set in its own grounds, which made it very quiet and peaceful. Yet it was only a few minutes from Jnt 15 of the M4. Room was traditionally furnished, but very large and comfortable. Food was very good too. |

Friendly staff and welcome. The closeness to where I had my business meetings was ideal and the location gave the relaxing feeling of a country hotel |

The hotel offered great value for money with a large bedroom (for single occupancy) and luxury bathroom. The Wifi in the room worked well and the room service meal that I ordered was excellent. Breakfast included in the price was also excellent The glasses in the room needed a good clean before use |

Really liked the fact that this is not a typical chain hotel, much more personal than most a little dated in places and quircky, plumbing could do with an update, hot water does come but you have to wait a long time for it, and shower pressure poor |
