shower was broken and very poor water pressure, shower dirty and noise level been on the rail line
I liked that everything was clean, and the staff is nice, and it's in a really convenient location. I had to take a flight at Heathrow at an inconvenient time and it's near a bus stop for the all-night bus route.
The room is really tiny, so even though I was in a double room I felt like I had barely adequate space. The shower was cramped and didn't drain well. The trains coming and going were a little noisy, which bothered me.
Friendly staff good location comfortable beds clean
bit shabby but what do you expect from a budget hotel
the size of the room and the noise of the underground
Clean, no fuss, basic accommodation in a good location for the purpose of our visit. Bed was clean and comfortable with ensuite facilities, albeit a little tired, but the shower was powerful (an essential in my book!) Very good value for money in London!
Television kept freezing or very poor reception. Tube trains 'thundered past' but I was exhuasted and slept like a log!
We had to sleep in the hotel workers small crampt room our room had Been let. ????
The rooms were at the top of the "hotel", very narrow stairs. The rooms do not resemble the photos online. They had no facility for getting breakfast early,so we had to buy our own breakfast even though it was paid for and included in the price. The showers are mouldy and discoloured and has a bad odour. The springs from one bed popped up and hurt my daughters shoulder. The tv in one room didn't work properly. had to constantly be moving the freeview box to get a signal. Its a bit of a shabby place not at all what we expected.
Having breakfast in our room, steep steps up to the room, room looked very dated, needs new carpeting, bed spread, etc.
The sense of achievement when I figured out the remote controls
The staff was friendly & very supportive they held the room we was in as we had to stay a little longer for personal reasons. The staff asked us if we needed help with our bags!!! The breakfast came everyday to our room which was lovely & relaxing the weekend was later time for breakfast so we could have a lay in!!
Very close to underground the noise but got used to it in end!! The hotel as got double glazed side windows to stop the noise as much as they could & they got a fan in in the room if we was hot!! Room a bit small though!!
Bathroom is too smal , i wasnt able to get in shower room to
wash myself and my baby and indide showe room was so dirty and the wooden bed side is trible beacuse its old and its so sharp at the corner and cut my legs so deep , it wasnt confortable place at all .
The shop 5 metres from the hotel.
It was close to the Undeground tracks (6-8 metres) so it was a little bit noisy. The brekfasts were delivered to the room but no place to eat on. Brekfest always delayed. No place for luggage and personal things (only 2 small bed shelves). The room was old and needed refurbishing. Comperatively high price probably due to the Underground nearby.
Staff Very friendly and welcoming
No tv working no ventilator working next to train station , you will not sleep at all
Location near the underground
The room was extrêmely small, extrêmely noise from th e street extremely. Warm...... I will sudject this place only for one. Night
Last minute availability, friendly welcome and helpful staff. I arrived at 11pm and left early next day so only needed a bed and a shower both of which were comfortable. The nearby trains didn't wake me up but I did close the window just in case. Certainly value for money!
Bit cramped (struggled to manoeuvre my suitcase and two people in the room would have been tricky). It would benefit from updating and redecorating - but then presumably the price would go up ....
It was great to have breakfast in bed room!! Pleasant staff they are there if you need anything and very welcoming!!! Great location for transport as your next to buses and underground and taxis!! 2 Nice little parks near by!!!
Just the underground noise!!! But we got used to it in the end!! But that can't be helped!!
The location and the cutness as a small hotel.
The noise from the train and the size of the bathroom.
It was in a good location for transportation, restaurant and shops
Going up the stairs to the reception is smells. TV did not work There a piece of soap in the shower with hairs stuck on it The shower either need to change or re-seal the room did not smell fresh Limescale visible in the kettle Around the cup had water make which gives me the impression the cup was not washed properly
Bed was comfortable Staff were friendly and pleasant
Décor was very tired and dated. Too close to tube station. TV remotes were held together with sellotape and consequently it was very frustrating trying to access channels and sound. Continental breakfast very poor, 1 slice of cold toast, 1 croissant, 1 sachet of jam, 1 butter and 1 half filled cup of coffee. Coat hangers on coat hooks for wardrobe !
not a lot
shoe horned into a room a no room to swing a mouse, bathroom was skin tight
Price Location They tried to make as comfortable as possible within the means Was clean Chap at reception was polite
Polystyrene cups instead of normal cups TV had no channels working, there should be a simple user guide so you can actually see more than a blank tv screen
The hotel is in good location near underground station and bus. Close to many different restaurants and the staff are very friendly and helpful.. wifi available 24/7 for free. Beautiful location
The train noise. As the hotel is close to underground station.
Building is two feet away from subway, you can hear train every five minutes...
The never ending sound of the trains prevented me from sleeping. I had to move out after the second night.
Convenience for central London and a very pleasant neighbourhood. Value for money.
Quite noisy as it is close to the Tube station and the sound of trains was quite loud.
