Unfortunately I was not happy with the level of service we received during our visit to Moran Cheswick over the nights of the 9th and 10th July. I chose this hotel and paid what I concsider a conciderable sum because I wanted luxury and a quality of confort and service. Our main complaites were as follows: Poor and slow breakfast service on the 10th and unhelpfull staff in the restaurant . Only 1 large towel in our bedroom even though my wife and I were staying. No coffee supplied on the 10th so that we could make our own coffee in the room. No "Pay for View" film service in our room. Tried to over charge us for 2 days parking. We paid an upgrade room price for a luxery room and service. This we fel we did not get.

good location the fact that they failed to mention the dance parties they host in the restaurant and still choose to charge over £100 for the "deluxe" room directly above. not good if you want/need an early night or have an early start the next morning (i.e. the london marathon!) Request not to be put on the first floor (especially room 124). Also very surprised to be given an electric shock from the light/power switches. Not expected at a 4 star hotel!

The hotel itself is very modern & it has a very nice feel to it. From the reception to the lift, onto each level & the rooms do not disappoint. When we checked in we were asked to provide the payment card & asked to enter our pin but assured that no money would come off the card until departure! In part this is true but they do reserve the money & you cannot get to it if required. Also, they took £30 more that the cost of the room just incase we had any extras! My wife checked out with another card from our joint account & they took payement with this card & we can still not access the other "secured" amount. We had to move rooms twice as the air con did not work in either of the 1st 2 rooms & whilst we did get a 10% discount I do not feel that the hotel did enough to assist us. We were made to feel as though we were awkward customers & I had to move our luggage twice with no assistance & this made us late to the engagement that we had & the only reason we booked the hotel. I would have got better service @ a Premier Inn. Is the hotel nice, yes. Does it justify the price tag, no.

Friendly staff, and great tidy hotel. Well i made the booking on Friday 21st Jan @ 11:37pm, for 3 nights starting on the 22nd Jan. When i arrived they said that i had missed one night and that i must still pay the full amount 0f £225.00. And this was only for 2 nights accomodation, i only live 400metres from this hotel and i got overcgarged.

Very quiet and excellent bathroom. Room key card stopped working after 11am rather than 12am, which is the official check out time. Had to get a cleaner to let us back in after brunch.

Spacious Room Service from restaurant staff at breakfast on Christmas morning. We had to ask for a menu after sitting and waiting for some time. We had to ask for toast and I had full Irish - it came without an egg. Not one person wished us a happy Christmas.

The rooms are lovely, bathrooms luxourious and the location excellent for the high street and station. Day passes are available for a near by health club for swimming and because we went there discovered by chance the man made lake, water feature and grass to sit on outside the health club within the new business park. A great 'week-end quiet open space' find on a hot October day !

The room decor was designed well and the room was very clean. The restaurant manager was very obliging by organising us fillet steaks in the bar, even though they had a wedding gin the restaurant. No mini bar, only terrestrial tv, bathrobes had to be asked for. Breakfast was terrible, mass produced Irish breakfast, horrible sausages, bacon and poor poached eggs. The continental breakfast was of poor choice and looked like a 3* hotel. The breakfast staff looked tired, disinterested, bored and probably underpaid. I was disappointed with the overall standard of the hotel.

Check is was speedy with pleasant staff. The room was spacious with nice decor/fittings and large bed. The bathroom was brilliant with powerful seperate shower (not over the bath) and bath. All very clean. The air con kept going on and off during the night which disrupted our sleep.

the room was fine, but it was strange that the insisted on paying in advance! the Internet is not provided for free in rooms.but the staff was one of the best i ever dealt with. no access to Internet in an executive room,no privacy in surfing the Internet in the lobby if you pay to use the PC in the lobby.

Just up the road from the tube station, we arrived early & were allowed to check in and had been upgraded to a family room. Everything looked new...clean and tidy. Would definitely stay there again if I needed a hotel in the area.

The Hotel definitely had a 5 star factor. Very plush & well decorated interior. I expected a small bedroom - I shared a twin room (single beds) - but there was lots of space & storage, the bathroom was lovely with mood lighting! The decor was finished to a very high standard. We ate in the restaurant & again, this was superb. There is a choice of a a La Carte or a set menu. If traveling by tube - check with the Hotel which is the closest tube station. We made a mistake in getting off at Chiswick tube which was a 20 minute walk from the Hotel, but there is a closer one that is only 2 minutes away! The hotel far exceeded my expectation and I will definitely go back again.

Large room for London, comfy bed, close to underground station, tea pot and laundry iron. Tired furniture, lack of tv channel options, huge cost for internet connection (by the way, the "free" lobby wifi bears the same cost of 15 pounds a day), you must be a safe cracker in order to get a decent water temperature in the shower (speaking of the bathroom, how hard is it to have a toilet brush in the room?!?!?!? ), no minibar. I got an exclusive deal from booking for my stay, so cost was't that high, but at the regular price the value for money is poor. I've stayed in many 4 stars hotels, this ain't it.

“The room was well designed - no granny furniture or bedding. The bed sheets and duvet were nice - Eygyption Cotton. The shower was brilliant - great pressure and a handy hand held shower attachment. The foyer/reception area was very nice, welcoming and well designed. The tube is only a few mins away. Tesco Metro and Starbucks across the road.” Rehanah, Bradford |
