Character, Staff, Location
Great location.Nice hotel with great character. Loved the shower !
the location value for money being in the heart of eaton and 10 min casual work to the heart of windsor the staff were very accomadating
the room we had was in the old part of the building, and felt that the room being a junior suite was old and dated and in need of a refurbishment
The accomodation was great. Very spacious couldn't have found anything better.
The friendly, helpful staff The comfortable bed The central location
The ambiance, decor location, and the helpfulness of the staff.the room was comfortable and very clean, it was a very relaxing area, we loved it .Will definatly stay there again.
The location was good and plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby. Easy walking into Windsor.
Worst night sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The mattress was dreadful. The springs dug into my back and legs. I complained to the manager, they changed the mattress and gave me £40 off my final bill. Over priced and not a comfortable stay.
The staff were really nice Lovely to be able to park on site Location is great.
The rooms.are very basic For the price But the location is fantastic.
Location, clean room, efficient staff, great breakfast, good valve for money
My friends and I only went for a night but it was lovely, the staff couldn't do enough for you, very friendly. I would deffenatly stay there again.
The car park was very small but we managed x
Location to the Windsor.
Small, hot room. Old furnishings and bathroom. Motel style with doors to rooms on the outside of the building.
Location was brilliant
Room was very noisy, shower was cold, bed was very uncomfortable, room was basic for the cost!
location was fine. bed, tub and shower were very good.
The walls are so thin, you can hear your neighbors talking quietly. Not conducive to a quiet, restful evening. I cancelled my second night and went to another hotel, thankfully.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and happy to try and please at all times.
Convenience for Windsor/Eton. Comfortable bed.
Cramped parking (but it was free!)
Location and comfort. The car parking was a great advantage
Checking out we experienced very poor communication, bills were incorrect, and brother in law was overcharged by £ 8.00. Careless housekeeping .
Location was good for the things we were doing
breakfast seemed very expensive for a continental breakfast. Whilst there, we lost a scout woodbadge, a leather thong with 2 wooden beads on it. If found, possibly in the car park, could it be returned to us please.
The room was comfortable and warm and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good. Unlike most local hotels it had a car park.
The car park was a little difficult to manoeuvre within.
The food is quite good. And there basic facility like wifi connection.
Not very spacious & dated furniture hence furniture not very comfortable
The hotel is located in an area which was ideal for us.
Reception staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful . The best I have come across for a long time. Hotel was a really good location for Eton & Windsor
Twin room was small and felt more like a double than twin!
Staff very good & helpful. Location is excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Royal House Guard Cavelry rode past outside the Dining Room window while we were eating breakfast - what a spectacular site.
Hotel is not as classy as the photo's appear on the Website. Aircraft from Heathrow flys directley over the Hotel every 2 min's, okay in the day but irritating when you are trying to get to sleep but then again the Queen was in residence at Windsor Castle just up the road & they were flying directley over her - so if her Majesty can cope with it we shouldn't moan - sleeping pills did the trick.
Arrived and very courteous and helpful
Very expensive and tried making me pay for 2 breakfasts at £15 each which I had not orderd !
Room 16 was fine save for the fan Lunch service on the terrace was good as was food
Breakfast service slow and full breakfast poor - pre cooked, on cold plates and visually unappealing. Very poor value for £14. So much so that we would not choose overnight again if breakfast not much improved.
quiet, convenient location, private
