Easy parking and good welcome. Very comfortable room/bed with a good selection of complimentary drinks. Nice pub very close by, for evening meal etc. Breakfast offered everything that the major chains have, in a farmhouse setting.

    No complimentary biscuits...... :(

The peacefulness of the countryside where this farm is situated.

Could find nothing wrong with the place.

Excellent breakfast! Quiet peaceful place. Single room was adequate and bathroom was big. Facilities were good.

Would have liked a summer weight duvet as even with the window wide open I was too hot. It was not a hot evening. There was no alternative but to take the duvet out of its case and sleep under that.

An interesting & successful 'Barn Conversion' The location was excellent for us as we were attending an event at Kelmarsh Hall, but it might be a little remote for some people. Staff (family) very friendly & helpful and the breakfast - included in the room rate was excellent. As my wife is lactose intolerant we had to take milk & spread with us & Rob willingly kept it in the fridge for us. Quite happy to visit again.

Only 1 pub in walking distance & when we ate there my meal was fine but my wife's was badly overcooked, after initially being presented too cold. Other than that no complaints.

Have stayed at Church Farm lodge several times over the years and it keeps improving. It looks like they have amended breakfast times as per customer feedback and the tv and bathrooms have been updated and the wifi has been improved.

The bathroom towels could be a bit more plush and bigger.

I will make this my preferred option in this area in future. Great room, great breakfast, Wi-Fi, easy location, world cup on in the pub next door. What's not to like?

I can see what people mean about light from the sky-light, but it really didn't bother me at all. Everything was excellent.

Perfect location, very peaceful but close enough to major routes for travelling. Staff couldn't do enough for you and I was made to feel most welcome. Will be returning shortly!

    No bad points whatsoever.

Large room and bathroom, great selection of teas in the room. We had to leave early in the morning and would miss breakfast but a tray of goodies was arranged for us to eat in our room before we left.

We liked the location of the Cottages, and its closeness to the local pub serving delicious food. The breakfasts were excellent, and freshly cooked to our requirements. Very friendly people. Wouldn't hesitate to go back there or recommend it to others.

The location being in a quiet countryside lane with the hotel across the road where we had a lovely evening meal.

The skylight in the roof that allowed the light in all night!

The coffee was fresh at breakfast because you made it your self. Instead of getting stewed strong coffee. The room was very clean, they provided bottled water - very thoughtful. A good selection of teas. Water was piping hot. Excellent

Would have preferred Gold Blend coffee in the room.
