The management and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended. The pub which is 30 seconds walk away is great too so you have everything you need on hand.
Peace and quiet location.Excellent room.Comfy and warm.Breakfast in the price was a bonus.
The location was perfect.
local pub, breakfast, free Wi-Fi, Sky TV
shower, cold bathroom, a little tired.
The restful sleep and lovely breakfast ready for the car journey.
Although booked into a single room, I was upgraded to a double. Warm, good tv, nice bathroom and shower.
Don't expect it to be like a hotel, you are sleeping in a barn-like room. Despite other reviewers, I didn't think much to the food at the local pub, or the breakfast, sorry. A little overpriced for me.
I like the Country side setting. Quiet, comfortable rooms, easy parking, freshly cooked breakfast. Local Pub is 5 mins walk and the Food was v good.
Not a dislike, just an observation, there is no streetlighting and the road to the Pub is Dark. Take a small torch..
The room was spacious with a lovely roll top bath and plenty of hot water,. The breakfast was hit and plentiful with good quality produce.
The room was cold and took some time to warm up, there was only a towel rail to warm the bathroom so this roomnever became warm. The television reception was extremely poor with lots of interference. The location is remote but that is bonus if you want a get away from it all feel.
Great character and well laid out with excelent pub food oposite.
High cielings are full of characture but all the heat goes up so a little cold on a winter night, but not too bad. A fan to blow heat down would help?
Breakfast between 8 and 9 on a Saturday! Weak shower
Every thing was spot on from the introduction to the presentation of the room
Can't fault it!
Room was quiet and parking facilities were good. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and staff were very friendly.
Shower was very basic. We thought that as this hotel had been rated 4 star that there might have been a few extra touches, like biscuits with the drinks and more than one chair to sit on.
Got upgraded to Suite - fantastic. Converted Barns very tastefully presented
Liked the chalet style barn conversions. These rooms are very comfortable with high ceilings with exposed beams, good beds, good shower facilities, bright and airy. The owners are helpful and accommodating with good local knowledge. Breakfast is fairly plentiful, run on a buffwt style service.
Nothing to dislike.
Comfy bed, friendly staff and tasty breakfast
Absolutely loved the size of the room and massive comfy bed. The en-suite was cleaner than most 4* city hotels I have stayed in and the facilities were really generous. The staff were very friendly and welcoming but not in your face like b+b's. Breakfast was a great selection of fruit, cereals, toast and of course an English breakfast. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but went to a wedding in the village pub, about 50 metres away where drinks were very cheap. Very pleased with everything, we've already started to look to book for gifts for family.
The shower head could have been a bit more powerful and too many sport channels for my liking!
Very friendly & comfortable place to stay, much better value than the typical corporate budget hotel/lodge. The local pub, just across the village, is also excellent as well as the breakfast.
A very clean and friendly establishment, breakfast very good, ideal place to stay if touring around Northampton, would stay again, and the local pub just a minute down the road ideal.
I chose Church Farm for its quiet, rural location and country-style accommodation. I was surprised at the high standard of modern amentities within the room. It was very clean, attractive and homely as well as offering a large tv and wifi. The staff were exceptionally friendly and informative regarding directions to events I was attending that weekend. The food was of a high standard, hot and freshly prepared. There was a variety of food available including fresh fruit. It was excellent! I would return to Church Farm again - even without the need to be in the area - but simply for a relaxing break.
Clean, comfortable, fantastic breakfast, very kind stuff.
We found Church Farm Lodge was a nice place to stay, providing an excellent , freshly-cooked breakfast and is also right next door to the Tollemache Arms - which serves lunches and evening meals. Pretty much everything about our stay was brilliant.
However, wifi in our room was very slow and sometimes stalled - so not really suitable for much more than checking emails or directions.
I was met and shown to my room personally by the owner. The room was lovely and breakfast was really good. The local pub was great for food.
I love the barn conversions, friendly staff, good value for money.
Only one thing let them down and that was the hard pillows!!!!!
Rooms were spotless, really enjoyed our stay. Lovely location and excellent cooked breakfast.
