The hotel was only a 3 minute walk from the train station, shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help. Our room was clean and comfortable as was the rest of the hotel.

We came back from a long walk at 9.30 pm to find we could not get anything to eat in Betws-Y-Coed because everywhere closed at 9 pm.

Food was good. Good location for exploring Smowdonia

Beds were uncomfortable.Had to use bedspread on top mattress so you not feel the springs. We now know these we're replaced on the day we left. However an apology for the poor quality would have been appreciated out of courtesy and may be a slight reduction in the room rate.

Beautiful location, easy reach or the whole of North Wales. Clean, very friendly and helpful proprietor.

Not a real dislike, but the rooms were on the small side . However, not being in them for very long, it didn't really matter.

This was a great base camp for activities in North Wales. The staff where very helpful in offering advice for different walks and activities.

The wifi is limited to the downstairs common room. I didn't mind too much but would be nice to have in your room.
