The mooing cows, the chirping birds, the wandering sheep, the racing rabbits and the view from my room! Plus and most importantly, the feeling of being welcome.

Everything views stunning

The only thing, and its a personal preference, that we would change is to have a separate table for each couple at breakfast. We didn't mind conversing with the other lovely guests but sometimes you just want your own space in a morning!
we had a lovely warm welcome and chat with the owner upon arrival and she even gave us some history of the farmhouse itself. The room was spotless, well appointed and comfortable. There were a number of different flavour teas in the tea and coffee making facilities which was a nice extra touch and we liked the fresh milk in a flask. The views were wonderful and we could see the church and cars looking like tiny models as they made their way over the moor to Hutton le hole. The breakfast itself was delicious.

This is a great place to stay, with lovely views and a very nice sitting/breakfast room for guests. Our bedroom was large, beautiful and extremely comfortable. The hosts are also friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are excellent.

We stayed in February and if we're being really picky, the bathrooms were a bit cold, but not a problem as lots of hot water once you got in the shower!
We booked the B & B accommodation at Church House Farm after being let down by a local hotel and we're so glad we did. Beautiful, spotlessly clean bedrooms, with very comfortable beds. Large, cosy guest lounge with log burner, extremely accommodating hosts. In the evening we ate at a local pub a short drive away. Would highly recommend and stay again if we're in the area

I wish i could of stayed longer.
What a lovely B&B fantastic location just outside of Danby, with a couple of pubs, bakery and train station, for exploring the surrounding area. The views from my bedroom were lovely and the room was finished to a high standard with many home comforts. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning.

Stunning rural views from window. Good quality facilities coffee/tea making/ shower products. Exceptional breakfast - perfectly cooked and generous portions. Lovely couple and their dog that run this place. If you want peace, solitude and wonderful views this is the place. Nice brekkie too.
10 September 2014
Our room was well furnished, and all the facilities had been carefully prepared for our use. The owners made time to talk, despite being busy, and the breakfast could not have been more freshly cooked.

Bathroom slightly bijou but new, beautifully clean and well equipped. No bath (although we hardly ever take one these days) but an excellent and efficient shower. We were there end of August with purple heather everywhere - marvellous - but I don't think this place would be quite so heavenly in cold, wet, cloudy weather in autumn or winter.
A lovely setting in a quiet corner of the N. Yorks. Moors, with a beautiful view across to the isolated church and the heather-covered moorland beyond. Hosts v. friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. No evening meals but two inns about 2 miles down the lane both serve dinner (and other meals).
