What a lovely B&B fantastic location just outside of Danby, with a couple of pubs, bakery and train station, for exploring the surrounding area. The views from my bedroom were lovely and the room was finished to a high standard with many home comforts. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning.
I wish i could of stayed longer.
Newly renovated with nice facilities. Beautiiful lounge and breakfaast area. Good breakfast. Friendly and welcoming host.
Lovely traditional farm house - beautiful and peaceful location. Hospitality and friendliness - interested but not intrusive. Flexibility re early arrival (at last minute) for which we were hugely grateful. Lovely room and en suite - very clean and contemporary. High quality furnishings and very comfortable bed. Stunning rural views from window. Good quality facilities coffee/tea making/ shower products. Exceptional breakfast - perfectly cooked and generous portions. Thanks Judith and Andrew for a brief but very enjoyable stay.
Truly - nothing!
Everything. Room perfect, very clean, owners very nice and location perfect, would recommend to anybody
Fabulous views. Great breakfast. The bedroom was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome
Great room and amenities, friendly and helpful hosts and wonderful breakfast.
Hosts very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was superb. Could not fault anything. Every little detail was taken care of. The breakfast was delicious. Will definitely go back.
nothing not to like
A large room with comfortable bed, fabulous view, fast internet and reasonable price.
Lovely couple and their dog that run this place. If you want peace, solitude and wonderful views this is the place. Nice brekkie too.
Our room was well furnished, and all the facilities had been carefully prepared for our use. The owners made time to talk, despite being busy, and the breakfast could not have been more freshly cooked.
A lovely setting in a quiet corner of the N. Yorks. Moors, with a beautiful view across to the isolated church and the heather-covered moorland beyond. Hosts v. friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. No evening meals but two inns about 2 miles down the lane both serve dinner (and other meals).
Bathroom slightly bijou but new, beautifully clean and well equipped. No bath (although we hardly ever take one these days) but an excellent and efficient shower. We were there end of August with purple heather everywhere - marvellous - but I don't think this place would be quite so heavenly in cold, wet, cloudy weather in autumn or winter.
Location is gorgeous, room very comfortable, lovely hosts who could not do enough. Yummy breakfast. Family dog, Charlie, acts as the official greeter. We had upstairs rom with phenomenal view. Cottages also available
Nothing (unless farm smells bother you as is is a working farm). Other than that, some might get lost if they use satellite directions. Instead, use the great written directions on their website and you'll drive right into the courtyard
very very friendly people!
for C2Coasters: they pick you up at The Lion's inn en take you back the next day on your starting point! They bring you in the pub for dinner en take you back!
What a gem of a place Church House Farm is. Its location combines both the peace and tranquility of "The North Yorkshire Moors," with its numerous walking trails, and yet within easy reach numerous coastal resorts (by car) including Scarborough and Whitby. Judith and Andrew are the perfect hosts, and run what can only be described as being "Exceptional Farmhouse Accommodation", with beautiful valley views complimented by a quality sumptuous full English breakfast. We would definately recommend this if you are considering staying in this area.
Beautiful accommodation and setting. Excellent hosts
We loved the surroundings, the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. So peaceful and relaxing. The house and the room were lovely are were our hosts. Food was excellent, cleanliness was top class. We shall definitely be going back.
A tad awkward to get to, but that was our fault, they had emailed us local directions, but we forgot to take them with us :)
Everything is perfect and would like to come back definitely! Highly recommended!
Room, views. Helpful owners whottold us how to walk to the nearest pub. A luxurious B&B.
That we didn't stay longer.
Friendly Hosts. Very clean and comfortable.
very nice place, nice people, good breakfast,
Everything about this venue was perfect! Very friendly, welcoming hosts and beautiful room with lovely views. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
The only downside was leaving!
It is a beautiful bed and breakfast and the hosts were lovely and very helpful, even going the extra mile to give us a lift to the wedding we attended! I'd recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break in breathtaking surroundings.
From arrival to leaving the hosts were absolutely excellent. Mind you with a sheepdog that is frightened of sheep and cows they must be used to odd guests!!!!
Amazing location surrounded by beautiful views and scenery. Gorgeous breakfast. Lovely hosts. Clean, comfortable room. Very friendly border collie called Charlie!
Not being able to stay longer!
