Church House Farm is nestled in the beautiful countryside of Danby Dale, at the heart of the stunning North York Moors National Park. Along with the amazing views, there is also free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. Each Holiday Cottage has its own private entrance and access to a shared garden with seating areas. These self-catering holiday cottages are comfortably furnished and include a TV, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and well-equipped kitchens, all have views across Danby Dale. To make the most out of the scenery, the best way to explore the vast surrounding bridleways, moorland and forest tracks is by hiking or cycling. The bustling markets of Helmsley, Pickering and Stokesley are each 35 minutes’ drive away as well as the seaside town of Whitby.

Church House Farm welcomes everyone with respect generosity and care. We aim to provide a welcoming homely retreat for guests to relax and rejuvenate in the heart of the North York Moors, surrounded by fields of grazing cows and sheep. We are always on-site for your arrival to welcome you and answer any questions about your stay. Free WiFi is provided in each cottage for use by our guests.

Church House Farm Self-Catering Holiday Cottage are sandstone barn conversions set around the old farmyard with views across the dale and access to a large shared garden. The current buildings were built around 160 years old and a house and small holding have stood here since the Middle Ages; with the same view across the dale which guests enjoy today.

At Church House Farm, you can have the best of both worlds. Stay in the peaceful countryside of the North York Moors National Park with the villages of Danby and Castleton just 2 miles away, which between them offer four pubs serving great food, a small supermarket, a bakery and cafe, health shop, railway stations and The Moors National Park Visitor Centre. Church House Farm is ideally situated to explore the beautiful North Yorkshire Heritage Coast including Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Runswick Bay and Saltburn-by-the-sea where you can walk the 4 mile stretch of beach all the way to Redcar. There is the famous North York Moors Railway and 'Heartbeat' country and historic towns and castles all within easy reach. Hutton-le-Hole is a beautiful village nearby where there is the Ryedale Folk Museum. Then there are the fantastic walking routes in every direction right from the door taking you up onto the moor top for spectacular views and circular walks talking in Danby Castle and Danby Beacon; or to link up with sections of The Coast to Coast Path, the Esk Valley Walk, or St Hilda’s Way.
