Conveniently located, Premier Inn Dover Central (Eastern Ferry Terminal) is in close proximity to the cruise and ferry terminals and just a short walk to Dover town center and Dover Castle.
Score from 961 reviews Excellent
Set in peaceful landscaped gardens, Ramada Hotel Dover is just 10 minutes from Dover’s bustling Ferry Port and famous White Cliffs. It has free parking, a gym, and a themed restaurant.
Score from 892 reviews Very good
These apartments are in The Cider Works – where homemade cider is produced, there is a country shop, and a charming café – surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Score from 82 reviews Wonderful

the window did 't close properly
Lovely view from the bedroom at the front. Lovely size be and lovely size room
Staff were excellant
Floor in room made one feel sick But could have changed rooms told all floors were a bit wonky
The location with views of the sea from our room and the bar area. The pleasant staff and easy-going atmosphere.
The hot room!
Older buildings do have some problems, but on the whole this hotel was nice, clean and had all trhe facilities we required.
location interesting floor levels close to ferry
bloody noisy hotel terrible bar meal (recommend go into town instead)
PRICE! and Location
Entry to room should have a warning sign to say "Mind the drop!"
When we arrived we were informed our room had suffered a broken water pipe so was unavailable so we were being moved to there Sister Hotel which was approx. 3 miles out of Dover so was not suitable for what we had planned having booked a Hotel on the seafront, I don't believe the room had a fault but as a Wedding was on the Hotel had been over booked.
Reception staff helpful and friendly
The rooms were small and very warm with no air or circulation possible. Air conditioning required. The cheap supplied fan not suitable. Shower water pressure very weak. Breakfast was disorganised, lack of staff in attendance, no management in attendance, tables not made up, food unavailable and had to wait. Staff English was very poor, by the time we received cutlery etc, breakfast was cold. Price of drinks very high. Price of stay did not justify the quality of room or service.
The best breakfast buffet I had in England.
This time I ordered a superior room because of the balcony. What I did not expect was that the size of a superior room can be 3 x 4 metres. Outrageous! All furniture was squeezed in this small room.
Seafront location near the cross channel ferry terminal. Also near the town centre and free parking.
Creaky old lift.
room was clean. excellent shower. cleaners in every day. overall it was ok in the end. manager was helpful.
double bed was a sofa bed could feel springs in your back and was really uncomfortable. hotel was too warm. had to request another mattress. would have been nice to get a see view instead of looking on to the back street.
Lovely building. Very pleasant staff Our bar meal was very nice Our breakfast was good Plenty of variety for the bar meal and for breakfast
Room too hot
Room was Nice, The bar area was lovely and clean, we also enjoyed the Spa
We had Afternoon Tea in the restaurant costing £25.90 for the 2 of us, we both went outside for a break, we left our food on the table so when we finished we would come back in to finish our cakes but in between this 3 min Cigarette break the Restaurant manager sent a young girl after us and accused us of not paying!!! We told the girl we will be back in in a minute and she felt so embarrassed!! I felt sorry for her, So when we came back into the restaurant they had cleared our table...Apparently the manager had now gone home so we couldn't talk to him I told the receptionist the next day and she told me how sorry she was and was going to get someone to ring me.....Still waiting.. M Charge
All staff were very helpful, food excellent pity we were not able to stay longer, hope to stay another few days next time.
View from bedroom over esplanade and dock Varied and very good breakfast
Poor Wi-Fi reception A la carte dinner ok but bit sparse quantity and minimal selection for the relatively high price
This hotel is ideally situated for many travellers; people wanting a stopover before catching a ferry or returning on a ferry. There are excellent faclities;comfortable rooms and well positioned for visiting Dover Town and its surroundings.
Sound of people walking around in the room above; Noise of running water from encased drainage pipe in ceiling bulkhead.
Great location , good parking at the door , good food in the Restaurant served by a wee charmer ! A good feel to the property
The rain !!!
The sea view
We had a double room with sea view which was good (this is my 4th or 5th stay )but when we went to bed we realized it was very small for a double ,could not move all night it was a nightmare not to be able to sleep all night next time must ask for a twin as we always do The female staff are frendlier than the mâle staff as usual the internet hardly works.
Only stayed one night. Bed very hard. Floors creaky. TV nearly Coming off wall and channels were poor signal ! Nice sea view.
Bedroom poor quality Car park away from hitel
Location of hotel
The heating should have ben turned off in the daytime and consideration to turning it off through the evening once people had gone to bed. The rad in our room was off, but the radiant heat from the pipework made the room very warm even with the window open.
We found the hotel overall excellent , for location and friendliness of staff . The restaurant was very nice and the food in the evening lovely along with the service . We were able to enjoy the terrace the following day for morning coffee at the front of the hotel being very lucky with the weather
We found the bedroom very hot , even with the fan . We felt rushed in the morning on entering the restaurant with our order for eggs taken before we had even sat down therefore missing the opportunity for fruit or cereal . Having said that the staff could not have been more pleasant, we-would just have preferred a more relaxed start to the day as we were enjoying a leisure break
Mattress was comfy, room was quite, nice breakfast
Bedroom was really hot, windows couldn't be opened more than 10cm.. we couldn't sleep. No air conditioned just a fan. Also I have booked for a superior room with sea view and balcony through Booking.com and there was not balcony! I have asked why and because I booked through booking.com and not in their website they couldn't refund the difference, and the hotel was full booked and they couldn't offered us another room. They offered me a tea for 2 or a bottle of wine which we didn't even bother to have. Overall we enjoyed the weekend but I will never go back in this hotel.
