Aperfect location at the top end of Newquay town away from the madding crowds but close enough to walk. The owners Glenn & Alison were very welcoming. Glenn cooks a perfect full English breakfast & Alison's standards of cleanliness is second to none. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The only thing on my wish list would be a more powerful shower.

It is the nicest B&B i have ever stayed in having been back there several times now. The propietors are lovely and the place is immaculate! The breakfasts are pretty special too!!

Alison made us very welcome. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The house is very clean and tastefully decorated. It was a pleasure to stay at the Lodge and we would certainly recommend it to others.... Erica & Jim from Somerset

After several return trips it feels very homely

Received a very warm welcome and were made to feel very welcome. Location is excellent for a convenient walk to Newquay and its beautiful beaches. Accommodation spotlessly clean and well designed with quality furniture and furnishings. Breakfasts provided for plenty of choice and excellent quality.

Not really something we didn't like but, but more of an observation and worth noting. We asked for disabled accessible accommodation and although we were given a room on ground floor it really isn't suitable for someone with a disability. There are 2 steps to front entrance with no handrails and the bathroom was bath with over bath shower and there were no handrails. We were only there for a couple of nights so could make do but it would have been a problem if we were there for longer.

Alison was really friendly, made me feel at home. Very pleasantly decorated & welcoming atmosphere. location was perfect for walk into Newquay abd had secure parking. Breakfast was yummy too :)

Run by a very friendly helpful young couple who made you feel very welcome on arrival and through out the stay. Very home from home. Spacious modern room very clean, on suite bathrrom with shower and bath. Hairdryer, TV , kettle and lots of tea and coffee, biscuits and a bottle of water on tray. We booked a twin room, had a single bed, a double bed and a sofa!! Lots of extras on offer free of charge on request(dressing gown for example). Nice lounge area with very large TV and a well stocked fridge(soft and alcholic drinks, chocolate etc). If you wanted anything then you were trusted to put the money in the basket on top. Good choice of breakfast. In good location , near to sea front and station. Great B&B.

Very warm welcome on arrival by the owners.This B&B is tastefully decorated very clean & beautifully presented throughout. Hotel comforts with use of a comfy lounge. Quiet location even though very near to NewQuay town & beaches. The cooked breakfasts were perfect too.Every effort has been made by the owners to make their guests' stay, an enjoyable one.

The owners of the B&B were hospitable, very warm and helpful. The accomodation is a great location, value for money, very clean and inviting and somewhere I would stay again. Whilst this is not a critisism it would be great if more seating was made available, to sit outside at the front of the property, current seats for 4 people. When the weather is good, rather than feeling the need to have to go into town to a bar etc to sit outside with a drink it would be great to have the room to be able to sit outside the B&B to have a drink.

Very comfortable, room was attractive and well-designed. Breakfasts were good.

Breakfast was a tad late for us and only cereal if you ate any earlier. Also, if you're not going to give us fresh towels every day, we need some place to dry the used ones (which we're happy to do). One day, the towels never dried and were damp the next morning.

Alison and Glenn made us feel part of the family from the moment we arrived. Their comfortable and stylishly furnished house makes a perfect base to explore Newquay & surroundings (surfing for our daugthers, National Trust properties & St. Ives for us). We made full use of the wide range of cooked & continental breakfast options - Glenn's full English breakfast was a real treat. All-in-all we really enjoyed our stay at this excellent modern take on the traditional seaside B&B, and we can thoroughly recommend it.

I like the friendly welcome from Glen and Alison. The room was very clean and plenty of storage space. There was a wide variety of choice for breakfast and very nicely presented. I would definately go back if I ever visited Newquay again.

The shower, for my liking was not very fast flowing, you mainly had to stay in the same spot to wash. I understand that the breakfast dishes needed to be cleared up quickly, but I felt that we were on a conveyor belt.

Chynoweth Lodge is a brilliant B&B. Every part of it is spotless. The staff are very friendly and very helpful next time we go to Newquay we will be staying there.

Alison & Glenn were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and helpful with everything. The room was light, airy, clean & tidy. It had everything you would need. The Lodge itself was stunning, the lounge and dining room were relaxed and comfortable. The 'Honesty Fridge' is a fabulous idea and available 24 hours for those who want a drink or snack. Located 4 minutes walk from the main street but still quiet and peacful.

I enjoyed everything about Chynoweth Lodge and would highly recommend it.
