Loved my spacious penthouse room with a private balcony and view of the Gherkin! It was quiet and well-equipped. The staff also were very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is a quick two-minute walk from the Barbican Tube station. Although convenient to the Tube, as well as to the City and to City University, the area right around the hotel is practically deserted at night, especially on weekends. On the other hand, the weekend rate was under £100 (on this website), so a good price for central London in the summer. |

Location ideal; room comfortable and well equipped in simple style; price good for central London - and a major reason why I chose it. |

the staff were unfriendly and the room was not as described at all, to have to sleep on a sofa bed for £100 a night is unreasonable!! |

Excellent location, Piccadilly and Central line underground at hand and Covent Garden just at 10 minutes walk. Staff very helpful, nice and clean room, well organised in-room kitchen. It worths the price. The only thing I could complain about is the sofa bed, not very comfortable. |

The equipment in the kitchen was new and clean. The internet was free. The TV and cd machine. Very good. I could not figure out how to erect the bed even with the picture provided. The towels were inadequate for 2 people. So small that it was impossible to cover and dry properly. |

Good hotel. Francesca the lady at reception was great. There was another lady that was rude on 14th April. I asked for a 1 o clock check out as I was in the middle of downloading something and she refused in a not so nice manner. |

For the location, you can't beat the value. The room was very modern. It's not a negative, but the bed is a pull out sleeper sofa. Just be aware of that when staying here. |
