Citadines Prestige Holborn  

Very clean, modern and aesthetically pleasing hotel. Friendly staff, very nice rooms, and amazing location relative to the Royal Opera House and Covent Gardens.

The staff were extremely helpful. We had a problem with the shower that was fixed within hours and it became the "worlds best shower". Extremely handy to the tube being only approx 100m from station. Excellent location Excellent that Sainsbury also nearby - help cut down cost of feeding family.

price/service/location ratio is the best one

It is a 'no-nonsense' hotel facility, offering good value for money, with staff that always friendly, helpful and efficient. As I was traveling alone, it was nice to be able to go to the lounge, enjoy a complementary cup of coffee and some company. I also found the kitchen facility very handy and there is a food market across the road. The location in Holborn is excellent. I will definitely use the hotel on my newt visit and can really recommend it.

The studio had everything I could have possibly needed for a self catering 3 night stay. I requested a high floor quiet room which was exactly what I was given and I liked the way the receptionist rang the room to check I was happy after checking in. the room was very quiet; the only noise I heard was when someone was passing the room talking in the corridor. I know Holborn very well and I picked the Citadines predominantly for its location, which is close to the tube and the shops. The free wifi was an added bonus and I will definitely look to stay here on future business trips.

The bathroom had a funny smell but this was quickly sorted out by the staff on my day of arrival who couldn't resolve the issue quickly enough. My only other suggestion would be to put a mirror near a plug socket! This wasn't the case in my room so it was quite challenging to dry my hair!

The hotel was central, staff were great and we could have 3 adults stay in one room. The hotel seemed to be sound proof too and beds were reallt comfortable.

Hot water was poor, broken shower head, blocked drainage in bathroom sink, toilet hard to flush, shower leaked onto floor, a/c was very poor in room,

Noise. There were shredders, recyclers, deliveries, etc. in the alley as early as 5 am every day.

poor tel system when i was staying (5th floor). conditions of rooms on 5th floor was worse than 2nd floor e.g. floor tile in restroom seemed to be broken, water closet not in good function

The central location is surely a great plus, the aparthotel is just in front of the Holborn underground station and within walking distance from many major attractions. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was even suitable to arrange a dinner with friends. Moreover, the aparthotel provides a luggage room, which comes in handy if your flight leaves in the evening and you still want to explore an extra bit of the city.

I liked all the staff except one lady on reception on the morning of 9th April. I only asked about charging my phone and she was rude, maybe that rude that I remembered it to write on here. The other staff Aurther and another chap were excellent but she was terrible and would be my reason for not going back. Noisy room
