The location is excellent for tourists as it is so close to a range of sights and sites. We enjoyed the proximity to and ability to walk to the Thames, Westminster, The London Eye, Gardens and Trafalgar Square etc. Transport to & from is very easy with the Underground just a short stroll away. The facilities are adequate and roomy although a little dated. The black out curtains were excellent. The rooms provided all the amenities that we required. The use of the kitchenette was welcomed as we were able to arrange our our breakfast and little meals etc. The free coffee and chocolate drinks in the foyer was very nice. Access to free WiFi is a great service to all and the access to a pc and printer in the foyer is great for last minute planning and airline booking / boarding passes etc. The staff were excellent and very helpful and they provided useful tips about local transport etc. Very comfortable stay in an excellent location. Value for money!! We would stay here again. The carpet is dated and this takes the shine off the place. Otherwise the Hotel was satisfactory and we enjoyed our stay.

The location was excellent , literally only a 2 min walk from trafalgar square to the right of hotel and to the left you have the London Eye. Everything was within walking distance.........Oxford street, regent street 5 mins walk. Plenty of coffee shops to stop off and enjoy a coffee . Hotel itself was very comfy, room was great and we really enjoyed it. Great if you planned a long term stay as room come fully equipeed with small kitchnette, oven, dishwasher, kettle etc, so easily cook indoors if eating out was'nt an option. Overall experience was great. Only downside about Citadines is the hotel is currently undergoing renovations but it was'nt a major issue.

Friendly, helpfull staff. Good rooms, well designed. Unbeatable location. Excellent respone to a complaint by fo staff. It was not clear from the booking information that the towel service was not included in the room rate. I am a hotelier myself so I understand the rationale behind this but an extra charge of UKpd 25.00 for new towels and a clean of the room is clearly excessive. This would be the only reason we would not return.

There was 7 of us friends sharing an apartment with 2 bedrooms with a lounge/kitchenette area - it was spacious enough for us to spread out and at the same time feel cosy. The apartment was very clean, location was superb and the extra bed & linen requested during the booking was provided as soon as we arrived - service was good as well as the price. Would definitely recommend Citadines. The only bear-bug would be that the toilet was downstairs and the shower room was upstairs with a narrow staircase between them - cute ! However, this point is more than out-weighed by all the good points and would not stop me using Citadines again.

Good location, nice decor, lots of room and good amenities. Very clean and not badly priced. Reception staff were a little curt and it was being refurbished so was difficult to see it at its best. They were also underbooked yet chose to put all guests on the same floor, which resulted in a group of school children keeping us awake all night shouting!

We liked the fact that our family could stay together in one hotel room as opposed to having to book two separate rooms. We were traveling with my mother. It was difficult to find a big enough room to sleep 3 adults n 1 child with some privacy for all. The area is the absolute best thing about the hotel. It was central to everything. The only thing that was very inconvient was the fact there was only 1 toilet, and located downstairs for that matter. Running up and down the stairs to use the toilet was very frustrating! Also we felt like there should have been another sofa in the seating area. Only two adults could sit comfortably in the sofa provided. We rented the 6 people apartment and it was tight for 4. Less closet areas would have made more room for people. Very poor lay out/usage of space. Also see above comments.

Very convenient and reasonably priced. Very comfortable bed. My answer against "Comfort" in question 2 is only "fair" for the reasons given below, under "What didn't you like". I was in room 809. There is a serious hazard with the bath in that room, probably in others too. Any person getting out from a standing position (which may or may not be after taking a shower) has to contend with the sloping and often slippery back of the bath. There is very little other space for one's feet in stepping out, and generally very little room for manoeuvre with little to hold on to. The least you need is a proper grab rail (all you have are towel rails, not best placed for this purpose). I fear for the elderly or otherwise not very agile guest, and the potential for quite a serious accident is there !

The central position. The staff were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. I knew when I booked that the hotel was being refurbished but the building work made the area very dusty & my coat was covered with fine sawdust. I believe the staff & workmen did their best to limit the inconvenience. I would have appreciated a teapot in the room. There was only one easy chair for two occupants. The wardrobe door fell off its hinges.

It's location. The cleanliness and design of the studio apartment. The fact that the room had it's own kitchenette. We were so disappointed when we reached the hotel to find out that rennovation works were taking place. There was a temporary entrance in use to reception and the ground floor looked like a building site. Whilst we were very happy with our room, we were on the frst floor, so when the drilling started early the next morning, the walls actually shook and didn't make for a pleasant stay. The website should have informed us that the hotel was under going works.

The convenience of the well equipped appartment is just great and its location very convenient. When it came to check-out I was in a bit of a hurry. Only one member of staff was serving at the desk and a small queue developed. There were other staff about and they and the other one behind the desk pretended not to notice. She went on shuffling bits of paper rather than having to serve customers. If this is a 'compaint' you are welcome to pass it on.

Liked it's central location perfect for visit to national gallery which was purpose of our visit. It's location near embankment station and nearness to shops and restaurants and other public transport made it a thoroughly suitBle venue for an inexpensive stay in London with access to famous locations. We have no problems with citadines.

Very central The staff need customer service training. On 2 occasions, the door to my room was left opened on my return back from work. On checkout, not a word of bye let alone did you have a good stay. I was upgraded to an apartment, however it was so cold in the room. The heating was not working.

It is a completely self contained apartment and as such was brilliant. It had everything except an oven although it did have a microwave. Of course being there for a weekend of theatre, jazz and museums we only used the kettle and the fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the decor and furnishing reminded me of Raddisson level of comfort. For a romantic weekend having the kitchen in the same room as the bed wasn't quite what I expected, I thought it was going to be an apartment with more rooms. Bathroom was very good although compact. Its all well thought out using a small space very well. If I was a business man or politician wanted a self contained apartment that I could live in for a week 100 yards from Whitehall you couldn't go wrong. Finally the price from booking com compared with the standard rate was fantastic value. The lifts were very tired and poor.
