Proximity to Concert Hall. Good quality liquid soap/shampoo in the bathroom. Lacks character, but excellent stopover for trip to theatre.

The friendlyness and proffessionalism of the staff was brilliant - was our first trip to Nottingham and reception were most helpfull pointing out the places we wanted to go on a map for us to take with us.. Also the parking was very convenient. The room was very spacious and clean. Great location. Definately plan to use this hotel again when we return. I was disappointed that the wifi was only available on the 1st floor as I had believed it was available in all rooms - Broadband was avail in all rooms but we hadn't brought our cable as we thought wifi would be avail - not a major issue though as we could have gone to the 1st floor if we desperately needed to use it.

the beds where poor you could feel the springs in them. There was nothing in the room to explain the heating in the room ,the rooms felt damp and cold.. also the buffet breakfast was poor with very greasy food and poor products used.

The rooms need some proper refurbishment - the carpet was so dirty and stained that nobody would want to walk on it barefoot even to make one or two steps. Bathroom was clean but old with a shower curtain that let water out of the shower anyway. Beds were on wheels so every time you leaned to them they moved! The staff does not even know where a car can be parked although street parking is right infront of the hotel. We wanted to change our booking, however we were told it is not possible with our rate and the hotel manager did not even bother to come from his office to inform us in person. The office is right behind the reception desk and would take about six steps to come out and talk to the guests directly. For these reasons I would not recommend the hotel at all, although it is in a nice central location (which is the only good feature of the hotel).

The location is excellent, easy to go anywhere by bus, tram or taxi. 3 minutes walk, and we"ll be at the square! Shoping malls, restaurants and cafes all in there. The room has plenty spaces for me and my 2 little daughters, with complete facilities in it. This is a clean and simple desain hotel, however it is best for my purpose to stay there. The hotel staff also were very helpful. I have stayed in this hotel twice and will do that again for my next visit to UK.

An excellent hotel. Good, spacious room, spotlessly clean, comfortable and very quiet (despite a fairly central and busy location)Good value for money. Tastefully decorated giving a pleasant ambience. Free WiFi appreciated and it worked well. Have stayed at several hotels in central Nottibngham and this was definitely the best and will use again. Nothing. My only comment would be that it is advertised as 'near' the railway station. It is actually a brisk 10 - 15 minute walk. Not a problem for me at all (like a walk !) but this may be of concern to some people or those with heavy or voluminous luggage).. Well situated for city centre.Would be nice to have a light breakfast as a choice rather than the full works at £10 - lots of us don't really want more than a good coffee and some fruit / slice of toast !

We found it clean comfortable with a huge bed. Great mirrors for doing our hairstyles with fantastic light massive room with clean bathroom and relaxing chairs for a sit down after lunch. We loved our stay and went on to stay the following evening in Derby at the Days hotel there.

Days Hotel was clean and We had no problems . Staff were very helpful and efficient. Car parking was £8 per day and worth it as the traffic wardens were very dutiful in the area. Location was perfect - few mins walk to centre but quiet .We got a great rate and I would certainly stay there again .

Handy location. On-site undercover parking was available for £8 if pre-booked. Large bed. Staff were friendly. We paid an amazingly low rate for this hotel and as such it satisfied our needs and represented good value for money Although the location is handy the street and the building from the outside are both pretty bleak looking. I could feel the springs in the mattress. The carpet in the room had a couple of marks on it. I would probably pay a bit more next time and stay somewhere better.

The loction of the hotel is in the centre of the city and is perfect for shopping and sightseeing . The room inside is big enough and very tidy. Although my room faced to a main road, it was so quiet for sleeping. There are bars and very excellent Chinese restaurant around the hotel. Totally, it is a very great choice.

“The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The shower was great - really powerful. We had a lovely view as we were on the 11th floor. The staff were really friendly and allowed us to have our room until 3pm, at no extra cost, so that I could shower after running the 1/2 marathon. Breakfast was good.” Cynthia, St Albans |
