Smokers using the emergency exit stairs to smoke! And going in and out banging the door.
Well located in the centre of the city, this hotel is ultra modern and the rooms make excellent use of a fairly small space. The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful.
The bed, while very large and comfortable, is inaccessible from three sides, making it difficult to get in and out of without disturbing your partner.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, the huge bed is amazing so comfy, wish our stay was for longer, would definitely book with citizenm again!!
Everything was exactly what we were after!
Liked the quirkiness, nothing else like it. The location was perfect for our theatre trip, literally two minute walk away. Liked the casual dining, you could have food any time as you serve yourself. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really clean and comfortable.
There was nothing we disliked
Very clean, pleasant, modern style. Nice, friendly staff.
The rooms are so small, no space to put personsl belonging, no cabinets to hang clothes, the lighting systems and other room control systems are over designed (not practical to use). When everything are got to be controlled by a single roomte control.
Nothing TV messed up once
Very modern and Great location
Modern and cool - no fuss - great décor and great price for business travel
I especially liked the staff. Every single one we spoke to or needed assistance from could not do enough for us. The bed was amazing and very comfortable and I loved that you could change the colour/ambience of the room. Also liked the remote controlled blinds. Found it excellent that the Wifi was free as is not always the case in Glasgow hotels. Also enjoyed a lovely breakfast.
I felt it could have had a bit more space in the room and wardrobe/drawer facilities. It didn't affect us as we were only there for one night but had it been a longer stay could have been a problem. Also as a mature couple, we missed our tea/coffee facilities and our Walker shortbread
Clean and comfortable room. Bed was amazing, big and cosy. Relaxed and watched movies on demand day after as I'd taken late check out at 3pm.
My "courtyard view" was a building site. There was a lot of noise outside even during early hours and I was grateful I'd packed earplugs. Housekeeping staff were also noisy cleaning rooms around mine.
Comfy bed Good selection of movies Clean/modern room
Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night and we loved it. The room was excellent, comfortable big king size bed, free wifi, movies etc. Rain shower was fab, had a great relaxing night. The facilities in the hotel are great also, with bar, restaraunt and a place to chill out.
No-nonsense free wifi; huge and comfortable bed; friendly and helpful staff; stylish establishment.
Loved the massive bed! And the fact you can control everything from the tablet! The mood lights were amazing, so relaxing! We will definitely be back!
Massive bed and massive shower. Lighting was good too!
Tv wouldn't play radio and watching to films was tempremental. Tablet connection maybe.
Social area was well designed. Breakfast was really nice with lots of options.
The room. Bit too minimalistic Although the bed was really comfortable and big we did not like the position right up against 3 walls Bit of a nuisance when you wanted to get out but you had to climb over your partner to get there. !!
Large comfortable bed, free movies, lighting effects, shower, beautiful lobby and bar, friendly and helpful staff, good location to bus station, shopping, city sightseeing bus
Stylish and trendy hotel, forward thinking, fabulous communal areas. Loved the colour lighting in the room. Highly recommend for those with a keen eye for design!
Good bar, great central location, large bathroom, cool mood lighting.
Cracks in bathroom tiles, no tea/coffee facilities, slow wi-fi, worn furnishings.
We loved that you could control everything from the little tablet - had a lot of fun with the lights! The bar being open until 2 oclock and the canteen being 24hours is ideal with the "living areas" feeling comfortable enough to sit and relax with a drink. It was out first stay here and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.
You couldnt swing a cat in the room, it is pretty small but if you really are only staying over for a night or 2 what more do you need?
Funky styling, pleasant ambience, great breakfast, comfy bed, cool lighting and fun quirkiness - we only had a night away but really enjoyed the experience. Although the hotel is right in the city centre, it felt like a very relaxing space to retreat to and hang out in.
None of the films, radio or web radio worked in Room 706 - only discovered when it was quite late and I didn't call reception as I couldn't be bothered with anyone coming to the room to sort it out late at night. Turns out they could have fixed it remotely from reception - but too late for us... Cool technology is great, but a bit of a pain trying to switch a low light on during the night without fiddling with the Tablet universal controller in the dark!
