Despite brilliant room decor yet it’s still so small it makes me feel claustrophobic, the humongous (wall to wall) bed isn’t helping.
I’m a geek, yet I struggled to turn off all the lights while I’m at bed, I had to walk to the door and press the main lights button, at one point I started laughing at myself as I kept turning one light off while tuning the other on at the same time using a combination of the button next to bed and the iPad controls.
No tea/coffee making facility in the room, I doubt they can provide one even if they wanted to due to lack of space.
Pillows are too fluffy, would’ve loved to have to option to pick another pillow.
The Ironing facility on each floor needs somewhere to hang our clothes when we’re ironing more than one item, The iron was a traditional (non steam) and the iron board needs cleaning, my white shirts where picking up loads of fluff. Next time I’ll cover the board with a towel or something like that.
If you’re going to watch live telly in the room, be prepared for the time lag, after few mins the voice will lag from the picture to an unwatchable point, the good news is there is a large library of movies to watch instead.
Drinks cost more than average, a bit more than average, but this is expected.
Very unique decor and ambiance, everything seems so polished yet relaxing.
Waterfall shower is very nice
The Room décor makes you feel either you’re in a futuristic movie (think the international space station from 2001: A space Odyssey), or you’re in a nice Tokyo hotel
Breakfast food quality, as for Dinner, it’s a hit and miss but reasonably priced.
Impressive WiFi speed
In conclusion, the happy casual atmosphere of the hotel had forced even the grumpiest traveler (Moi) to crack a smile each now and then, so despite the claustrophobic room I have booked my next week at CitizinM after just 2 nights there.
