DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds  

The hotel was a 5 min walk from the station and the center. All the staff where very polite and helpful. I liked the hotel had a secure room to leave your bags as the check out time was 11am but our train was 4pm we were able to leave our bags and return later. We were given a ticket for our bags and they were left in a very secure room which was a relief. Also when we arrived at 12, check in was not untill 3 however the room was ready and we were able to go straight in, this give us the freedom to do what we wanted them for the afternoon. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The area was lovely and the sky lounge is a nice bar to visit we went later on and the lights across the city looked really nice. If i was to go to leeds again I would definately stay in this hotel.

This hotel was brilliant and there is nothing to complain about. The complimentary cookies were also excellent!

Majority of staff were excellent - Hotel was very very good at allowing us to check in early - We had an excellent room, which was immaculate, as is the hotel throughout. Comfortable room, excellent facilities and quiet!

A couple of staff members let down the effort that the majority put in, but apart from this tiny issue, the hotel is excellent, warm and welcoming! Would still stay again

Clean, Well priced, Slick with a swift check in and check out. The use of the Mac for TV/Internet and entertainment was excellent. Comfy Bed and nice shower, bath robes also a plus. Would definitely stay here again

The room description wasn't accurate. According to the description that was advertised there should have been a 'separate seating area' and in the room there should have been a bottle of real ale, chocolates, news paper and something else I can't remember. But luckily the hotel was so nice it didn't really matter.

location, rooms, staff all excellent

breakfast very disappointing, bad value for money , don't mind paying £20 for breakfast if it was worth the money, but it was terrible.

Really good location for Leeds City Centre, Elland Road Stadium, and Leeds Railway Station. The staff were very welcoming and the warm cookie was much appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean and the complementary bottles of water (which were replenished daily) were a really nice touch. The location was brilliant for nights out in Leeds and the 'Hop' pub under the railway arches opposite the hotel entrance made a good stopping off point on the home in the evening.

I can imagine that some guests may not like the walk under the railway station into the city centre, although this didn't worry us and the tunnel was really well lit and fairly busy even late at night. It would have been good if there was a separate lift for guests as there were often queues due to customers going up to the top floor bar/restaurant. We would like to see fairtrade tea,coffee, and sugar in the rooms and it would be nice if they could label if the warm cookies, given to us upon arrival were vegetarian, or not.

got an offer online, great price, really have great staff and lovely room also a prime location ( 4pound taxi to elland road )

Fantastic hotel the sky bar is a must for a great view over Leeds Only a 5 min walk into the centre of Leeds best bars and shops Will definitely use again

The beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and facilities were clean.

Central location close to the canal.

The restaurant was terrible, food quality poor and overpriced, suggest you do not eat at the hotel. The lifts were packed and one was out of commission all weekend therefore had to use the stairs all the time. This was treated as a bit of a joke by the hotel.

Very much central to everything in the city centre, value for money, very comfortable and facilities were great. The views of the city centre at night were very nice and the surrounding grounds to the hotel were equally as nice, made our weekend very romantic as you could easily stroll near the canels all staff that we encountered were very friendly and pleasant. would stay again

Excellent location, clean room, attentive staff

Only 2 lifts available was a minor inconvenience. Breakfast prices were not attractive
