Great value for money Enjoyed having a lounge area to relax in 2 bathrooms was a benefit for a group of girls

No reception area so you had to call a strange number for someone to come and let you in. Plus no one to hand your key back to, had to post through letterbox of apartment

Very modern and light. Excellent security.

The bathroom and kitchen. There was no hot water. Our contact person on site could not assist us and said we had to wait till 11 A.m when the housekeeper arrives. This is no help when you need a shower at 8 A.m when you have a business meeting to attend.

Very difficult to get in the first time.

Apartments were great. Plenty of space, hot water and overall home away from home items to make the stay perfect. Location was close to tubes and business section. Plenty of places to eat, and local shops to buy groceries and such. Will make this my new choice when staying in London on business.

As these are apartments within a complex, there is no "desk" to check in with. Check your reservations with City Nites before going, as mine through bookings.com didnt get to them. But they were great, got me a one bedroom for first night and got me into two bedroom next night when I needed it.

Location was perfect.

Me and my friend have spend over £3000 in last 6months in apartments, this will be the last time ever that we will be using them again. The service was disgraceful, I was given incorrect information on security deposits. Staff very Unhelpful over the phone, I have spend nearly 2hrs ringing your office to get answers, to which has still not been rectified. I will never recommend anyone to stay it use your services again.

Feels like home

Very disappointed from Booking.com as upon arrival....there was a closed gate with no reception, nobody to help, no telephone no. To call for help....after I stayed for like half hour waiting outside in the cold until somebody from the hotel came and apologized, as they didn't know what time I was arriving...!! I am totally disappointed from that.....

I liked the flat organization, the privacy, the security, the view, the out side space & entrance. The flat was supplied with all requirements and electrical devices needed.

It was hard to locate the hotel because there are no signs that shows the name and there are no reception for it.

* Not fully equipped for 4 people (not enough plates, glasses etc). * Were only given 1 key between 4 people & were made to feel awkward & pushy for wanting another. * Difficult to find initially and the premium rate telephone number provided went straight to voicemail. * Outrageous price for what you get. We stayed in 2 apartments the week prior, paid 1/2 the price we paid for this & the apartments in (Manchester/Edinburgh) were far larger & better equipped. Supposed that's rip-off London for you though. * Had a ground floor apartment which wasn't requested, so no view/balcony or atmosphere which we would have liked. * London

Convenient for the city Nice & efficient staff member.

Minimal courtesy in terms of tea/coffee/milk given thats its a self catering apartment. This particular apartment had limited hot water.

Great location, perfect for a few friends to stay rather than make a long journey home after a night out in the City.

Alowed flexibility to have meals in flat if wanted too. Liked the level of security to get into the apartment block. Was in an excellent location close to my conference

Slats in the bed of the 1st bedroom (one without the ensuite) not fitted properly, was ok for 1 adult and 1 child, but don't think it would have coped with the weight of 2 adults.

Price - but London is ludicrously expensive My £169/nt at City nites was a bargain compared to the £600 the conference hotel wanted Other apartments have stayed in are serviced like a hotel room eg change of towels. This one has no service at all

The address is wrong and this made finding the apartment very difficult . It should read : St Christopher Court Hooper Street off Lehman Street

Spacious, well-equipped apartment, with its own balcony. Good location for Tower Bridge area and the City. The rental apartments are among a complex of privately-owned units- they have been designed for continuous living in mind rather so, even for short stays, are much more 'homely' and practical than a hotel room.

On arrival, you must phone and wait outside for the City Nites agent to arrive and take you to your apartment - there is no reception desk to check-in. The furnishings are good, but not luxurious (cloth rather than leather sofa for example). The booking makes no mention of the need to show photo ID (eg passport), but this is essential! There is no internet at the Aldgate location.

Really nice and clean apartment close to grocery shopping and underground stations. The apartment is located in quiet (and secure) courtyard away from the street. We had a friendly reception and felt welcome.

Please notice that booking.com states that there's wifi in this apartment - but there isn't! We complained about this and received 2 usb for mobile Internet which was a great service but it was very slow. If we were informed about the missing wifi we wouldn't have booked this apartment.

It was a modern, clean, well equipped, and well insulated flat, not far from Aldgate East. There were supermarkets in the vicinity, too, which is handy, since you cater for yourself. The flat felt very airy and safe, and it felt like 'living in London', as opposed to 'staying in a hotel', albeit for two nights only. The staff were friendly, and helpful, and let us have the keys earlier, so we didn't have to hang around for hours, waiting to check in.

As anyone knows, hot water and showers in Britain require specialist skills to operate. But once you figured this one out (switch in the cupboard must be on not before, but during shower!) it worked well. Next door was one of the largest building sites in London. Pneumatic drill started before 9 on Saturday morning. However, the Sunday was quiet like a grave, and the construction works - although probably taking months - are a temporary nuisance. Being well insulated it was actually only the pneumatic drill that happened to work just below the window, which could be heard in the flat. Other noises were quite well shut out.

No service at all- it is actually individual apartments, with no access to anyone to help you with your stay.

It is nice to have a space that you can feel is your own and also not to have to be in the same room as your bed the whole time. Much more space than a hotel room

The reception process is a bit hit and miss. When I arrived I had to phone someone and then someone was sent to meet me and show me to the room, which would be fine but I phoned 3 times and got and answering machine before I spoke to someone and then I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come to show me to the room. I wouldn't like to have to do all that in the rain on late at night in the dark

Apartment itself was good

"Check in" process is appalling. There really isn't one - no reception or anything. As it says check-in was 16:00-22:00 thought I'd nip out of work at 16:30 and quickly check in as it was only 5 mins from office. Eventually figured out that one needed to call an 0845 number to attract someone's attention (don't call the number on the door for the building - they are nothing to do with City Nites). After 30 minutes and several chaser calls someone eventually came to meet me. Apartment wasn't cleaned and they had to track down the cleaner to even get in. Once all that was sorted, and the apartment was cleaned, it was actually a very nice apartment. But they need to sort the check-in process or at least make it really clear so you can phone ahead to meet someone (which would be fine)

The apartment was modern and located within easy walking distance of the underground at Aldgate East and numerous bus routes again within reasonable walking distance. the apartment was secure and quiet.

There were many things that were not satisfactory, firstly the apartment was not under the direct control of the concierge but by an agent who resided some way away and there was a long delay between arrival and actual getting into the accommodation. As it is a unit the management is in Birmingham! There was no Wi-Fi as advertised or a DVD player, the cooking utensils had many items not provided including a frying pan and tea/coffee cups to name a few. Although promised a refund over the phone with management for cost of providing own WI-Fi this was never received.Also apartment was not serviced until a complaint was raised after 9 days and then done on two further occasions in last 3 days of 14 night stay. I believe considering the cost this apartment it was poorly managed and misguidingly advertised and I would not recommend it as there are cheaper apartments to let in the same vicinity.
