I chose City Nites as they catered for my children also at a good price, we loved the room, all very modern & clean. Everything we needed was there especially the kitchen ware, I was a little disappointed with the free toiletries offered as they were basic (Example) hair & body wash were all in 1, also not enough sugar offered so had to go & buy more, Paid for a breakfast which was disapointing to the children so had to go & buy more again, the site didn't explain what the breakfast consisted of until I got there & had already paid, so expensive for a cereal breakfast really, the deposit was also expensive & I was unaware of it until I read the reviews just before heading over to the hotel so glad I did otherwise I would have been very embarrassed, just think the site needs to be more detailed, & if the hotel managers get to read the reviews they will see people dislike the same things, but in all I would go there again now I know what to expect.

Very good value for money, all appliances working, clean, well decorated, warm, spacious and friendly staff, had a free dvd library, and free wifi. No bin in bedroom, toilet paper was rough, bedroom Door would not close properly, sofa was way too small for a cuddle n movie. Huge deposit of £250!

Good location, with good "living room" space. Good car-parking - felt very secure. Disappointing size of second bedroom - and no hanging space. Asked for a receipt when leaving keys in express check-out. None received.

The location of the hotel is not quite in the "heart of the city" as advertised. Additionally, management advised me to take a taxi for a five minute walk as the surrounding area is unsafe

I chose City Nites because of its location and the fact that it offers apartments (and not hotel rooms). I was not disappointed on either items. The apartment was very pleasant. The kitchen was fully equipped. On arrival I was pleased to find a courtesy tray with tea, coffee, sugar, etc, as well as washing-up liquid. I did not like the £250 deposit on arrival. Moreover if you pay it by credit card you are told that it will take a few days after your departure for the bank to process you refund. The other thing that annoyed me was the fact that whereas they claim you have booked an apartment and not a hotel room, which in their view justifies the deposit, they also forbid having guests, which was the very reason why I booked an apartment. After arguing, I got permission to have 2 guests for dinner until 11pm. It is the sort of place where you feel the management has every right, and the guest has nothing but duties. I reported a broken tap on arrival. When I left 5 days later, it had not been repaired.

Spacious accommodation and the option to move into an apartment with a balcony when we arrived was an added bonus! Noise from general public when leaving nia. Lack of parking on street without having to pay for underground parking.

Really nice relaxed place to stay with the family. Great location for an event at the nia. Liked having the secure parking. The bin was a bit too small for the rubbish created by us cooking, but that really was the only thing.

City nights was a fabulous place to stay, the apartment was beautiful and the overall service was brilliant. Checkout was extended free of charge and reception was every helpful. I was also upgraded for free to a 2 bedroom apartment. Although my stay at city nights was brilliant, I was slightly disappointed with the massive increase on price for Saturday night which is why I only stayed for one night, apart from this everything was top class.

It's great to have home from home, lots of space in your living area. Clean and fresh decor with good bathroom and kitchen areas. Ideal location for nia shows, eating at the Mailbox and Brindley Place and close to take nice walks around the canals in the middle of a vibrant city. The shopping is superb too.
