the hotel room was fantastic! you can pay the same kind of money with a travelodge & get just 1 room & a bathroom, but this city nites hotel had everything we could ask for & more, we shall be staying again soon :-) the £250 deposit was a bit far fetched, i can understand it seen as the hotels got alot they need to insure for like microwaves, washers, fridges etc which you dont get in other hotel rooms, but i did think £250 was a little high |

You get a flat with full facilities for the price of a hotel room. Location is excellent for visiting ICC and NIA. Staff is very efficient and helpful. The bed was not very comfortable. |

The style of the apartment was clean, functional and minimalist. The staff were pleasant. We were disappointed to find that there was no iPod dock as two of us had seen this on the website when booking. The Freeview was dreadful, it made it impossible to watch TV. This aside, we had a good stay. |

It was nice to stay in an apartment rather than a small hotel room. City Nites also upgraded me FOC to a two bedroom apartment rather than the one bedroom apartment I had booked. There was no reception/check out before 8.30am. I had to leave much earlier than that so I had to go into a seperate apartment block and drop my keys in an 'express check out' box. I have also struggled (and still not received it) to get a VAT invoice for my stay despite numerous assurances from City Nites. |

That we could cook our own food and watch our dvds and just relax like we were in our own place The pillow were very thin from being washed and where they have clumped together, also the dishwasher leaked all over the floor and we had to use a towel out of the bathroom to mop it up |

Simply great hotel for a weekend away from the kids, close to the centre of the shops and night life. |

Very convenient for where we wanted to be. Ideal for a stay of a few nights without having the expense of eating out in restaurants/hotels. We have contacted City Nites direct with a couple of comments. No telephone contact with reception which would be useful in an emergency. No hot water on arrival and apartment very cold (it was a cold November evening) It would have been welcoming to have at least the main living area warmed up. |

Liked the idea of a "home " space, good car parking There was no atmosphere, would like to check out at a reception desk in the morning. Would recommend to certain people only. |

Only a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. Quiet location. Less than a mile from the main train stations. A little tired in places. |

The location for access to the NIA does not get much better, we could see the venue from our window. A clean, modern, light and spacious apartment with easy parking. Excellent for our purpose and made us wish we had another night or two to explore the shops as well. Directions took us to the entrance to the apartment block and not reception which was a frustrating start. There was nothing on the front of the block to indicate where reception was. Parking to go to reception was not easy as double yellow lines everywhere so one person needed to stay with the car. Couldn't find a corkscrew, glad I took mine! 4 days later and in spite of an e-mail to reception requesting confirmation of release of my deposit I still do not know if this has been done. I would expect an e-mail or call the same/next day to confirm this. |
