Mould in bathroom pics aren't of the same hotel rooms we were told they have 3 properties this one wasn't a good one
Cleanliness or lack of it. Room was very small Mattress was very old and very used
Everything bad smells, limescale and mould everywhere in the bathrooms .upon arrival a staff member was asleep on the sofa I had to wake him up to check in!! At 5pm .There was also cockroaches in the hotel avoid at all cost . stayed for 5 days room wasn't cleaned and no clean towels the clean towels were left on the porch outside.
Location is actually good. It was handy for where I was working anyway. Lots nearby if you want food or drink. It turns into a bit of a dodgy looking high street after dark once all the shutters come down on the shops.
I was given a TINY basement single room! There was a window but it didn't open out to any outside air, just a dark void. Room was incredibly hot. Big fan on the wall was caked in thick dust. Toilet/shower 'wet room' was the smallest & worst I have ever seen in my entire life. Coridors stank of mildew (they said thay had recently had a 'leak') but that was certainly not fresh smell. If I was not desperate after a long hard day with an early start looming the next morning I would have walked out and gone to find somewhere else.
Sky tv. wifi big fan room was warm excellent breakfast
Door handle was slightly pulled off
The staff didn't clean the beds, there was a window in the room but it was useless because outside of it was a dark alley or something.. No view.
- typical "bed&breakfast" place - wifi was fine - personel was kind and helpfull - we were allowed to leave our stuff inside the hotel at the day of leaving
- we've received a room no. 105 in the basement with shared bathroom, but this shared bathroom with shower was 2 floors up.... - in the room was big humidity and musty smell (mold)....avoid this room! - bathroom with shower which was on the first floor was also musty smell (mold) because of non working fan I guess? - I'm not picky but "Full English Breakfast" contains a bit more than it was served to us.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_breakfast#England - very low budget place....
Lady serving breakfast very friendly; good and complete breakfast.
The room was not clean and the bed not comfortable at all.
1) Decent connection to Wi-Fi in room 2) Lady who made breakfast was really polite 3) Staff were generally polite 4) Rooms fairly well equipped with basic necessities of 1 bed with pillows and duvet.
1) Have to shower right next to the toilet making everything wet inside this little room called the bathroom. 2) Have to request room make-up every time you need it; staff frowns upon request 3) Never got exactly what we asked for for breakfast, got terrible stomachache on the last day after breakfast (not sure if related).
Great service from staff
No view from room...no window
Excellent price, helpful staff, adequate facilities, and a nice breakfast. The second time that I've stayed and it won't be the last.
Wifi connected easily
Damp Ridiculous room Shower facilities are two floors up
What I like about this hotel is that the reception desk is 24hrs and the staff are really friendly. It appears that all rooms had a SKY box in them although a number of sky channels were not available.
The room had a very nasty stench. the smell is very difficult to describe, it could perhaps be a mixture of dust, unclean carpet or the fact that the room had been kept closed for some time or that the room was in the basement. But the smell was so bad that I had to open the window. I did not complain to reception because I got there at 1 in the morning and needed to leave at 8am, with very few hours to rest, I thought it was better to covered my head with the sheet, to help with the smell. But when I got home all my clothes were reeking of that awful smell. I would advise that they have a look at it. Also I would advise that they change the shower curtain. Part of the curtain was stained i.e. yellowish color. It seems as if it had not been changed in years.
The location was not bad. To be greeted by the market in the morning was unexpected yet cool.
Room stuffy and smelt damp. Poor ventilation. B'room extractor to noisy and takes a long time to shut down. Misguided promotion of sky channels only free view available. Furniture was ripped.
Very dirty, stuffy. No window on the outside in room 111. All bathroom is in shower cabin sized. Toilet bowl is placed exactly under hand shower. There is a small fridge in this room but, of course, is not working. There is no any wardrobe in this room. Only two tables in the "restaurant", which is placed next to reception.
Well located on Roman road Breakfast simple OK
- Fungus - Mildew smell - Rooms have uncosy energy saving lamps - Hotel is not well maintained and poor finished
All dissatisfied. The room is not clean, but the price is lower than others.
The bed sheets and towels were clean. Soap was provided in the bathroom. We were able to check in late i.e nearly midnight. Breakfast was provided although we didnt have time to sample it. It was just a based for one night!!
The room had what clearly used to be a kitchen in it. The shower head was broken so water squirted out the side of it. The room had a tiny window so very dark. Bathroom was a wet room but a purely designed one. Cost £53 for the night which I considered expensive for the standard of the place.
The staff were fine and the room in general was fine. The wifi connected and considering we were literally only in the room when we were getting ready or sleeping, it was fine.
It was further from the tube station than we thought and I didn't feel like the shared shower was very clean - the room smelt a bit funny. For the money we paid we should have expected it to be bad though, really. The price we paid is very low for a weekend in London.
Value for money
No cup to wash mouth
TV Channels and big Flat screen
Just the location to the market and bus stations.
Very poor reception, staff didn't smile, very small rooms with no windows which gave a foul odour and no ventilation.
All of it
Old sock under my bed ,and hotel was in need of refurbishing
