Tiny room Tiniest bathroom ever Dirty Umcomfortable Rude staff

The staffs are fair,hotel is clean but my room was clean for the first night only but was not clean up till I checked out on the fourth day. Towel was not changed and bed sheet wasn't changed for three nights. This won't be accepted by many guests. These need to be addressed to satisfy customers. Thanks. Engr. Olawale Olanipekun

I hate the fact that my room wasnt cleaned up for three nights except the first night. I was also disappointed to discover that the sky tv in the room has gone out of subscription. You can only watch few news channels nothing else.

Overall I liked the fact that the room was clean, i liked the big garden at the back. The room was smaller than shown in the picture and it was in the basement so the window had no view except of the ventilation room; but the room was clean otherwise.

I didn't like the size of the room, online is stated standard double bed room, and it was a tiny room which was just about fitted with a double bed. Also a weird thing happened when I was staying there, I came in had a shower relaxed a little then went out to get something to eat. Before I left I turned my laptop camera on to record if any motion takes place. I left the room after securing the window and came back to the hotel in about 2 hours. When I played-back the video, it showed a male member of staff entering my room 2minutes after I left, he went towards the window, I couldn't see what he did as the laptop was facing the door. But when he came back towards the door, he uncovered my blanket, checking the bed sheets, and it looked like he was looking for something. then he returned the blanket and pillows as they were, then left the room, and closed the light behind him, he then turned the light back on, as it were on when he came into the room. After seeing that at 2am, I wanted to do something, but I didn't think much of it until I went to the window to see what he was doing there, and I found the window unlocked. So I went upstairs to the reception, I spoke to another member of staff, I explain what happened, he gave me excuses for why his mate could of done something like that, I then required something to be done before I checkout in the morning. The next morning I wanted to check out, the manager wasn't there, there were two people who apparently were in charge who acted like they don't know what's going on, I requested a manager, they said that he will take half an hour, so I said I'll wait, then they got the manager on the phone to speak to me, he also acted like he doesn't know what I wanted to talk to him about. after speaking a little to him he said he will deal with it on Saturday, this happened on the 23/04/2013 at 10pm and he wants to deal with it on 27/04/2013, and then get back to me.

For the start: he hotel staff lied to me, because I booked the room with a bathroom, while the one I got was without any. I was also told, that it is only my mistake, not the hotel's, and that I should discuss this with booking.com, not the hotel staff (so here comes the question: what is the hotel staff for, if not for solving guests problems?). The room wasn't clean, the bedding was stained, the were no facilities which I was supposed to find in my room (tea and coffee making set, sitting facilities; but there was a dirty fridge which was definately too loud for such a small room), the TV and the WiFi didn't work properly, I had problems with an earlier check-out on my request and with money refund on behalf of that earlier check-out, etc. The staff was unhelpful, broke every rule of decent service. I was invited to see the room of different standard, which at that time was being occupied by other guests. It happened when they were absent in their room. The kitchen, where the breakfast was being prepared, was dirty, some of the hotel's guests used the kettle for boiling everything apart from pure water (the same kettle was used to boil hot water for other guests). My short stay in that hotel left me with nothing but disgust and repugnance. I would suggest avoiding it no matter what. It is better to add a few extra pounds and stay in a normal place.

Accessible easily using public transport. Ease of getting to City Airport and relative cost were reasons for selecting the hotel.

I've been in many similarly priced hotels and had a far better standard of accommodation although to be fair this was en suite when the others have mainly not been. This is very basic and doesn't warrant a single star. That said it served my purposes well enough and for a short stay on a budget, go for it. Breakfast far too late at 8am to be of any use to me.

On a bus route with easy access to the city centre.

No tea / coffee facilities in room. Poor food for breakfast including no milk for tea. I did ask but didn't get a response and I won't be going there again.

Location, good valur for money, free (fast) wifi and the staff were All very pleasant. It was also nice and quiet too.

The room was quite hot, but a fan was supplied, so this wasn't a huge issue

The fact that the guy said I didn't have a booking ! Even when I showed him the conformation he still insisted I had no booking , then proceeded to charge me £40 for a room. Even though I had booked for a lot less via booking .com ! He could not give me a receipt and the whole episode has left a sour Taste
