“I stayed here almost every week for 4 months for work. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms aren't big but they are perfectly comfortable and cosy. Wifi and room service at no extra charge really set this hotel apart from the others I stayed in. I got a great deal on price and would highly recomment it!”

Quaint old building, gently renovated and with somewhat commensurate furniture. Free (but somewhat erratic) WiFi. Suitable location. Small, hence personal. It had all I needed, including room service, in a hotel that still radiated (the positive aspects of) a B&B feeling. While everything was OK, nothing was remarkable...

Helpful staff, useful information and a clean and well-furnished room. The promised wi-fi access wasn't available due to a weak router; apparently 'the manager' is 'thinking' about upgrading the service. There was no lift or porter service so bags had to be lugged up a narrow staircase to the third floor. Public spaces were a bit grim and worn but, I guess, that's what you get from a 3 star hotel in a slightly out of the way part of the city.

We loved the location of the hotel. Also so many city hotels are very sparse and rooms are compact but this room was comfortable and a good size. Only the view was a bit disappointing but then again it is a hotel in a city so you would not be expecting a wonderful view.

Well designed room and friendly staff. Clean. It was noisy and the breakfast was very basic for the price. And the lighting in my room was inadequate.

Arrived at 14:45 and was told room not ready, check in is 14:00 !, had to wait until 15:30 before getting room, unacceptable. Was given room with disabled toilet facility, no bath, very dissapointed, you need to repair very noisy squeeky floorboards above room 007, and the heating system when on thumped at a constant 10 second interval, very annoying.have stayed many times before but was a bit dissapointed this time, we are already booked next month, hope the experience is better or will be looking for alternatives in the future.

its in a great area, beside shops night life etc, also has a handy car park round the corner. We actually really like this hotel but on this stay there was no hot water or heating for 2 days out of three and we had to go to a room at the ibis for a shower, not ideal but staff were very apologetic and helpful.

The location was very central and the rooms were the right size for the price. Lack of communication by staff. No hot water due to a boiler problem.
