friendly helpful staff coped well with my adult son with learning disability.
Students sitting on the steps which I found friendly but others may not like.
Central location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. As a Best Western Diamond rewards member they did manage to upgrade me when a room was available, this room and en-suite was very large.
Hotel decor looks a bit tired. My first room was a good size but had a very small en-suite, although to be fair the room description did say the en-suite was small.
Quite Clean Good Location
friendly staff location
Liked large room with comfy bed, clean and secure, friendly helpful staff. Good location, would recommend.
A bit noisy with the window open. No lift so a bit of a climb with case, though was offered help.
Smallest hotel room ever stayed in. Unable to open wardrobe door due to bed. Window would not open, view of 10 story derict building from it.Bathroom floods when shower on.
close to shops / bars
unable to have a window open as on lower floor (below pavement level).Coped for one night but would not stay in same room for more than one night. poor lighting, room very dark. bathroom needed tlc
Close to city centre
The mix up with rooms even I told them I think some one is still their. Told I have been upgraded but the room seemed just as small. Not very clean and the blinds did not work had to pull them down and to put it up it seemed to it was a hard job.
friendly, clean, helpful, good value
Spacious rooms Close to a wide choice of restaurants
Location was good.
I arranged a 7am wake up call because I was parked in a bay attracting a parking charge from 8am. Unfortunately I didn't get a wake up call and got to my van at 8.50 just as the traffic warden issued me a ticket. I reckon the hotel should pay the fine.
We had a twin bedroom which a as huge. Great facilities. The desk staff were amazing and could not have been more helpful. Hotel is short walk from theatres and maybe 15 mins from down town. Airport bus drops off nearby. Really enjoyed out stay.
The room was a bit warm but the desk staff had an oscillating dan which we used free of charge so all was good. Nice shampoo but no conditioner. One of the towels in the bathroom was like sandpaper but otherwise it was exceplent
Close to city centre. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
No restaurant for evening meal
Super place to stay. Excellent friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommend as parking right beside it. Definitely think about when visiting the kings theatre.
space of the room was good. baby cot requested was provided.Free wifi acess was great.
the floors in the entire hotel are extremely noisy, we heard people walking along the corridor or even in the room above us. As the room was very warm, we had to sleep with open window but the traffic noise was horrendous. Bathroom was very small and staff at reception is not overly friendly or helpful. when asking for a good location to have breakfast, we were just sent to the West end with no real destination.
Good location, comfy beds, nice power shower
Helpful staff. Spacious double room and ensuite on third floor. No elevator but staff quick to help with bags. Good location.
Breakfast too pricey though looked fresh. Too much food for our needs. Went out for simple breakfasts, for much less, close by. No WiFi in room. TV very small. Bed quilts adequate but need to be updated. No A/C but not a problem in cooler weather.
Staff friendly & helpful
Very poor facilities. No lift, no bar . A very antiquated hotel in a city centre
OK location- was attending something in another hotel nearby so good from that point of view, close to Sauchiehall st too. Good size room, might have been unhappy if not upgraded though! Staff friendly and helpful. Generally clean throughout.
Extremely poor Wifi in rooms- I gave up after an hour on the first evening of 3! No lift - I had a very heavy case. Traffic noise- close to motorway. Bed not v supportive.
The room is embarrassingly large, well located at the edge of the city center, two blocks from Tesco Express. Top value for the dollar!
Minor problem of not having an elevator, knowing it's an old refurbished building.
Good location within easy walking distance of the city centre. Splendid breakfast, generally good room with all would hope for, tremendous staff. Will stay again. A taxi to and from the train station is a must with bags.
Poor wifi connection
no parking and staff not very helpfull in telling you where to park
