Close to the center and the Kelvingrove Park zone.
the last day they start works on the floor at 9am...(not good)
Great bed and shower. Good location for walking to desirable spots in Glasgow. Staff was very helpful in handling special computer requests.
Location very good, lovely and clean and staff very helpful,we were given a room on the first level and plenty of space in room.
Nothing wrong with hotel or staff and would go back to stay again.
you kept our luggage stored for the last day before we flew. Very much appreciated.
Welcome given to us by staff and quietness of the building at night. Ease in getting to Charing cross station which is just around the corner and one stop from the city centre. Breakfast was very good
Escalation of prices, in line with other city establishments, because the Commonwealth games were taking place.
Terrible shower, not a big enough screen and spayed water everywhere! Pillows were solid
room staff free wi-fi location
no breakfast included
The location was perfect for the theatre I was attending, but not to far from centre of City either. Breakfast was first class, certainly for the price. This hotel was perfect for someone who was staying for a single night.
The wi-fi signal was very poor. I was in a room at the back, and could hardly pick it up.
The room was lovely and clean, and comfortable.
Good size room with all the basics to make the stay comfortable. Friendly and efficient front desk staff. Comfortable lounge.
Lots of stairs - fine with just a small bag but might have been tricky with more luggage.
Our ground floor room was very dark. Lots of noises from people walking through the hallways outside.
Reasonably good location. Staff very friendly.
Doors slamming: Door closures (obviously for fire safety) set so that doors slammed rather than closed. Constantly being woken up. Some other "guests" were a pain - shouting in corridor at three in the morning.
Staff. Help carry suitcases up 50 steep steps.
No elevator, fifty steep steps to room, no curtains, no black out shades. Bars on dirty windows to keep sea gulls out. Traffic noise went all night. Paper thin sheets and towels.
Nice staff. Quite comfortable bed. Pretty good location, even if you have to walk 10 minutes to the most central parts of town.
Absolutely no sound-proofing. You hear exactly what they say in the room next door and you hear the steps of the persons in the room above you and the talk of people on the street. No aircondition. No included breakfast. The cleaner a bit too eager, woke me up in the morning by trying to get into my room.
Clean, if small room (208). Great location near Sauchie Hall St with a car park next door.
£4 for a tiny bottle of Stella. At least Dick Turpin wore a hat.
Quick check in, because room already paid for. Close to city centre.
Room was OK, big enough but windows high and only looked onto some sort of alleyway. Very dark. Noisy at night due to close proximity of reception.
its a bit tired re the decor
Excellent location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very comfy beds, there was nothing to not like.
Handy for shopping good places to eat and drink
Friendly and very helpful staff
Needed alternative quilt . The room was very hot.
Mattress had spring visible and made sleep diffict
Liked the quirky layout. Not like a traditional one corridor hotel. Comfortable rooms.
Option of breakfast not explained to me. When I came back to hotel in evening staff on front door step smoking. Not great to see or to have to walk through.
Location is good, not too far from the city centre (15 mins walk). A good choice of food was available for breakfast. The reception and other staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel room was uncomfortably warm (possibly due to the recent good weather). We couldn't leave windows open as we were on the ground floor. As we were in Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games, the cost of our stay was high, especially for the standard of hotel. But that would be true for all other hotels in the city.
It is close to Queens Street Railway Station. Restaurants, Cafés and shops five minute walk away. Staff friendly and very helpful. Nicer breakfast.
I was in room 306 at the top of the house, a double room but not sure how two adults would manage to survive in this small room. Ventilation very poor. It was like a sauna and as there was no separate sheet only a duvet cover, it was impossible to have any bed clothes on during the night. The receptionist did tell me (not sure how I am supposed to know this mind you) if I had phoned reception I would have been given a fan. When it's hot why not just leave one in the room!!!!!!!!! Breakfast was good, but you had nothing on the table apart from salt and pepper. Everything else you had to gather up yourself.
