Score from 3171 reviews Very good
Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean, linen nice and fresh. Bathroom clean. Great central location. Good price. Rooms were a good size. Location was quiet.
Single bed mattresses were not very comfortable. My friend said double beds were okay. Could feel the springs. 3people in room but only 2 towels and toiletries. Fridge not turned on.
The staff were very rude and need serious training.
Everything. Please avoid at all costs.
Well located for restaurants down Brick Lane and easy to get to tube station as literally just around the corner from SAldgate East tube station
The family room was spacious
The window wasn't shut properly so cold air was let in. The bathroom sink was clogged and it takes some time for water to properly sink in. The shower wasn't that good.
Large room. Surprisingly quiet. Friendly staff. Central location on. Brick Lane, a vibrant part of town. Very close to tube station
For the price really not much to complain about.
Breakfast was a let down. Quality of food was very good but no-one ensured the cooked items were always available. My husband got half on his plate then had to wait he eventually only had a part English when paying for a full one!!
Hotels need to advise prospective clients when coach loads of foreign students are scheduled to stay. They completely took over the hotel including the bar/lounge and restaurant on both days. New Years eve was a total wash-out with 'kids' screaming and banging on doors until 05.00a.m. Despite requests to keep quiet and several calls to hotel reception to no avail. Their check out day was Jan 1st at 12.00 hrs but their pick-up was not until 22.00 hrs. They remained 'parked' in the hotel bar and restaurant for the duration, making it un-useable for other guests.
Great location and very good services.
Everything, very caring about your needs, about your staying and great with attention
The staff were brilliant, yet maintained their distance when I needed it. The bathroom cleanliness I could not fault.
The pillows were too soft for my personal liking. On busy days, parking can be an issue, so you may end up leaving your car keys to attendants, who do not work for this hotel.
Great location, not too far from the tube station, and with a great sports bar downstairs. The in-room décor and facilities were great for the price, given the location.
No frills. The décor in the communal areas feels a bit shabby and dated.
I liked the location close to Brick Lane and Spitalfields on a fairly quiet road. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.
I didn't like the loud TV noise coming from the room of another guest late at night but felt too tired to complain, so I pulled the bedclothes over my ears and went back to sleep. Wish I'd remembered my ear plugs.
Very thin walls! We could hear anyone walking down the corridor.
Decent price compared to other hotels in the area. I asked to be on the top floor as I knew they had decent views from there, which was worth while. Overall no complaints.
... for a bed in town to crash after the office xmas party it was fit for purpose.
My room (415) was next to the left/generator which periodically got a bit noisy throughout the night. The bathroom needs a refit and there was either no hot water or too much for the mixer shower to cope with.
Good location near a tube station
Stay regularly. This time stayed the usual two nights the room was not cleaned. Bath panel hanging off. Staff did not suggested any discount for disappointing stay . Rooms were expensive this time compared to others so not very impressed
Room was grubby ie stained walls, doors , bath very dirty Needs updating ! the wood around base bed dangerous and very noisey from bar ! No hot water in morning for shower noisey boiler all night room 100
two separate rooms for the family room
We could not get the heating to work and the rooms were cold, i actually wore my husbands jumper and thick socks as i sat in the room and then slept in them.
A really big comfortable room with a sofa, coffee table, somewhere to sit and work, and a good shower. The price was little more than some of the awful cramped basement rooms I have had elsewhere in the area. The staff were very friendly.
Friendly staff, views from bedroom window, the Shard, Gurgin etc.
Took ages to run a bath and then the water was'nt very hot. Difficult to find hotel, not very well advertised.
Beds were comfortable. Great location. Staff were very helpful
Very expensive. Advertised as junior suite and it was just am average room
location near the city, the bar, did waht we needed (3 separate beds and a place to crash)
room smelt a bit musty, not the most comfortable bed
staff were very helpful and attentive
room had vague smell of smoke
room, cleanliness, comfy bed, lots of room. Hotel Bar great, comfortable and great food
No sky in room, no BBC 1
