Great hotel, great location, friendly staff. Great value for the money!
The price was unbelievable, the rooms were simple but stylish and comfortable, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!
Parking expensive even with discount
Fabulous location. There was a few problems initially with the booking as we were booked in to include breakfast and this was not included in the booking sent through from booking.com so advisable to check your paperwork before arrival including the price quoted. The receptionist was really helpful though his name was curt and he sorted everything out and let us check in early. All in all a fabulous place to stay and a brilliant location
Location just within walking distance of broad street and other bars.restaurants
Green/black mold in room which made me ill for duration of stay which I had to cut short
Fab hotel, friendly staff, lovely comfortable room, and the breakfast was a really nice end to our stay. Would stay here again.
Really like the location ,everything was in access and a lovely time .
The noise of the music whike i was sleeping
Check in was quick and simple, the room was great, imac for music and a very large comfortable bed which is what's needed after a night out!!
Room was large and spacious, comfortable and clean, was well equipped too. My final complaint ( see "what didn't you like") was dealt with well and all fees waived
Hotel was fully booked and withdrew catering facilities without telling us even though we booked 10 months in advance. Quiet room requested but we were put above a raucous Xmas party. Hotel staff were working noisily at 1:30 in the morning. Initial Complaint was not well dealt with. Hotel claimed that rate agreed with booking.com was an error and should have been £36 more.
Location, ease of check-in/out, room and wi-fi.
The location was fantastic for the NIA, the market, Broad Street and the canals. With an NCP car park adjacent, getting there was extremely easy by car and if you know where you are going a 20 minute walk from New Street station. Taxis are also plentiful.
Being so close to the hub does have its own problems. There was some deep base noise until the early hours emanating from a club across the road. Whilst my wife appeared oblivious this kept me awake for a couple of hours. Perhaps I hadn't had enough wine!
Hotel was good quality. Location excellent. Staff were friendly
Alittle expensive but on a par with other hotels in the area
Location was just ideal as we wanted to go the German Christmas market and to gig at NIA. Buffet breakfast included. Check in and out was effortless and staff were friendly. Recommended strongly.
Great location Very helpful staff Were able to check in early A very pleasant hotel to stay in - hence why we keep coming back
The facilities in the room and its close location to the city centre.
Location was excellent for visiting birmingham
The bed was very hard and the duvet thin and not very warm. The hotel was busy and someone was consistent scrapping furniture along the floor. There was a smell in the bathroom of dragnet water. Unpleasant.
Location, cleanliness, comfort.
There wasn't anything
rooms very clean nice staff
breakfast room was full too many people in there, had to eat our breakfast in the bar area
Exspensive for such poor quality service.
Close to town & the markets. Not far from train station too so could easily get a cab back.
Couldn't use the bar area in the evening due to private parties on both nights, but we were advised at check in & when we got to our room.
Staff are not nice in the hotel. The clients are not happy with their attitudes.
Wonderful location to explore Birmingham Warm comfortable clean Staff excellent Wonderful value for money
Only a few minutes in a taxi (£5.80) from railway. Central for lots of bars, restaurants Efficient service at reception, additional needs met (early check in, place to leave bags after check out) Directions given by staff excellent
Room Cold - although our friends did say their rooms were ok - so its not a typical case throughout hotel. We had turned up heating to full whilst out, but to no luck - a thicker tog duvet may have also helped. We didn't complain to reception as there is very little that could have been done at a late hour. Had we been in for more than one night we would have brought it to their attention.
The location of the hotel and room standards were fantastic. It stated over on Friday evening in December when Xmas parties were booked, so we did not have a chance to use restaurant facilities.
On arrival we were told that Hotel car park was full and we were asked to a nearby multi-storey car park in exchange for a discount. Next day, when we went to pay for the car park we found out that we wee billed £16 and hotel gave us only £4 discount! That was disappointing...
