Good location, very friendly staff. Unfortunately during our stay, the hotel restaurant was being refurbished so breakfast was served in the bar & lobby area & the hot food was slightly cold. It was never the less very good quality food!

The receptionist greeted us warmly and with a smile - so first impressions were good. Our room was clean and very comfortable with everything we could need for our overnight stay. We were very impressed. Have stayed in lots of hotels over the years, and this one is very definitely in the top 5. If the occasion arises we would have no hesitation in staying at The Mint again. The location was ideal for what we wanted to do.

Very helpful German receptionist. Restaurant 2 course meal good value for money. Very clean and modern. Apple computer / tv was good. Disappointed that the dvd library advertised was no longer available.

Great staff and location .Good selection for breakfast. No room on car park alternative 100 metres away 12.50 with a discount !.Apple computers but dial up connection so slow .Booked with breakfast but had no record but was quickly sorted .

The staff were very friendly and efficient. It was a very nice hotel to stay in for us as it was near all the facilities that we required, the Bullring and the nia. The cooked breakfast was not hot enough, the plates could have been hot to help keep the food hot. Apart from that there was nothing we did'nt like.

Close to city centre but in a relatively quiet zone. We liked everything about the hotel but a special mention must go to the staff. When in Birmingham again, we will definitely book this hotel again.
