The best and most personable staff - as ever. I stayed a total of four night with an family of six from Philadelphia. They altogether loved it. Breakfasts and dinner in the restaurant were exceptional. My business is personalised tours of Scotland, and I now only overnight at Mint. Www.brucesscotlandtours.com

The hotel is perfect to attend the secc , just a short walk. It is very clean and rooms are compact and very soundproof with lovely Clyde views. A nice bar area and dining room. Food and drink a wee bit pricey but overall enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay again

Nice modern, clean hotel. Having the Apple pc / tv in room was a very nice touch. Rooms were very clean and bright. Very well designed and thought out. Breakfast was very good, fresh with a wide variety of choice. Would recommend to anyone. Bathroom a little dirty behind toilet.

A good standard hotel with well equipped rooms near to the SEC. Ideal if you are visiting the SEC but about 25 mins walk from the town centre along a busy road. Not a pleasant walk to the city centre so it is best to book a taxi (particularly in winter). I would recommend for the SEC but not for the centre - choose a hotel in the centre instead.

We were at a concert in secc in glasgow, on sat 17th december on returning to the hotel there was a private function on in the main room, this left a big problem trying to get a drink, the hotel had set up a temporary bar in what I think was a small lounge and was very chaotic, this was very disappointing at the end of what was a very stay.

The location was ideal for our business trip to the Glasgow Science Centre. The rooms were nice and staff were friendly. I was happy enough with breakfast but one of our party's order did not appear and the rest of us were almost finished before his order arrived, which was a bit uncomfortable for the rest of the group. Apart from that, i enjoyed my stay.

I liked the location. The staff were very friendly. The rates were very reasonable compared to some hotels in the vicinity. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I am not someone who spends time looking for problems. Was there anything that was lacking from my room? Answer - No! Did the room offer more facilities than I was able to use? Answer - Yes! Oh and the cooked breakfast on a cold Sunday morning was awesome. I've stayed here before and i'll stay here again.

the hotel was booked as it was close to a concert that we were going to that night. it was also convenient for the shops The hotel had no smoking and smoking rooms. later on at night there was a smell of smoke in our room - not good. the window was not open and so it was not coming from anyone smoking at front door. it was permeating from somewhere else. Also at breakfast we asked to sit away from the door. the waiter did move us but he didn't even acknowledge our request. on the whole the women were friendlier than the men. on checkout they tried to charge us twice for the evening meal
