The fact that the hotel is within a 5 minute walk of the SECC and Clyde Auditorium was the main reason for my booking, and is an excellent choice for those who wish an overnight stay if attending an event at these venues |

Very modern & Brand new hotel. Great place! There is even a Mac available in each room! So bring your Ipod! I will definitely book a room at the City Inn next time I go to Glasgow! Location a bit far out of town center. |

Perfect location close to the Exhibition Centre. The Hotel is reasonably priced for the facilities on offer. Pleasant location on the river we had winter stay but would think probably very nice in summer Room was very small for 2 - although facilities were good. Would have been more managable without chair. Room Service Menu after 10:30 was limited but acceptable, quality of the room service food was not acceptable. 4 slices of cheap sliced bread, a cheese slice and half a jar of pickle presented uncut on a plate. This almost put us using the Hotel Restaurant on the second night but due to the weather we chanced it and the food was good quality. Hotel needs to bear in mind that if late arrivals order room service then this is peoples first impression of the Hotel food and in my experience wasnt a true reflection. |

Enjoyed everything about the hotel, the facilities in the room, especially the media player.very comfortable bed, the design of the room, loved our stay, everything was catered for.The little touches, like snacks and mini bar, and bathroom, shower, all were excellent.Well done, staff were very nice, pleasant, and all added to our enjoyment.would definiately stay again. Unfortunately, we had a power cut in the morning, outwith the control of the hotel, which meant we did not get our hot breakfast delivered to our room as planned, bit disappointed, but we were given a continental free of charge . Also felt Breakfast was a bit pricey, and not included in the price of the room.Would not deter me returning to this hotel however . |

Outstanding Staff. Well Trained, attentive and very pleasant. Modern comfortable room with IMac computer in each room, with free full interactive services. Nuvo Cuisine food may look nice but it really doesn't hit the spot! For £25 I don't expect to feel hungry afterwards! My room only had a shower; this and the food would stop me staying more than 1 night. |

Excellent location for us - easy walk to the SECC, so saved the usual jam getting out of the car park. Comfortable room, nice view of the Clyde and the Squinty Bridge. Nice touch to have an Apple computer providing all the AV services. Wireless internet too! Bar meal was excellent, very busy, but staff were quick and efficient - well done! |

Very close to SECC and beside the river. Food and bar very good Gets very crowded as it offers free parking with dinner so between 6.00 and 8.0pm it attracts a lot of concert folks |

Well laid out room, good location for access to city but remote enough to be quiet. There was a smell of cigarette smoke quite often in the room, i assume it was from the air conditioning, but very distinct and most disagreeable |

Restaurant facilites and staff were great. Overall, great experience and I would definately use City Inns again. Staff at the reception were cold and uninviting. A shame really; because from the room maids to the waiters, all were very pleasant. |

Particularly liked the room decor and level of comfort. Food was pretty good too. Minor criticism of waiting staff at dinner who did not quite have the level of professionalism to match the food. eg cork broke in wine bottle during opening. |
