Helpful, friendly reception staff Choice of food at breakfast Location Large seating area outside overlooking the river Soft cotton sheets Powerful hairdryer in room Apple TV in room
Bed smaller than preferred but realise this may be down to the fact that it was a room with disability access No biscuits provided in the room to have with tea/coffee
A perfect location for attending a gig at Bellahouston Park
Modern building, quick check in, modern facilities. Apple TV very slick and JBL speakers a nice touch, good tea facilities.
Small bedroom, tiny shower room, poor quality tv reception, hard bed, can hear other residents using toilet facility, not able to adjust room temp. No complimentary biscuits with tea.
excellent view over the clyde quiet location and we would certainly visit this hotel again.
the fancy restaurant downstairs. the room service menu had better selections - although there is a brilliant restaurant right over the road
Amazing value for money, brilliant food and a nice walk by the river to the main shopping street. Will be staying again!
Clean and comfortable. A short walk will take you to a local bus or train station that goes right into the centre of Glasgow at a low cost.
nothing to like
a terrible experience
Near to the Clyde auditorium as there for concert, plus it was only about a 20 min walk into the city centre, also had a room facing the main road and never heard the traffic
superb location for the SECC and all facilities modern and well appointed.
The location close to the concert venues and on the side of the Clyde
Location, room, facilities
Office chairs were unbelieveably comfortable!! Nice waffle bar
WIFI was not working
I was very impressed with the helpfulness of all the staff I encountered. A couple of the staff on reception were outstandingly helpful.
The printer in the business room was not working. But this was a minor problem, and reception staff very helpfully printed emailed documents sent to them.
The hotel is in a great location and if you are staying more than a night get a river view. Its a 20 min walk to Buchannan St and the city centre. the rooms are clean but small wifi standard The staff are brilliant. All in all this is a great stay for a short break in Glasgow near some of the big concert venues and a short taxi ride to everything else. Generally great value for the money
Since Hilton acquired this hotel there are things that I find a little irritating. The breakfast has become self service so can be a bun fight at peak times and food not as good as previously. Haven't had dinner there since Hilton due to disappointing breakfast so cant comment. No more papers in reception area. But all in all little gripes
The hotel was lovely breakfast good staff helpfull good all round stay would recomend it to others
Good location Cheap parking iMac in room
Very noisy A/C. Non responsive staff when asked to turn it off. Asked for this in the morning (after a sleepless night) and was not done when returned to the room in the evening. After 3 hours of waiting and repeated calls, we were informed that they could not "log in the system" to turn it off. We were asked (at 01:00 after midnight) to move to another room if we wanted a quiet room. Very unpleasant. Uncomfortable beds.
The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn couldn't have been more helpful. A great place to stay.
Stay here everytime I visit Glasgow - great location and great that it has parking - staff are friendly as always - rooms are clean and bed very comfy - breakfast is superb so much choice
Nothing that I didnt like
The air conditioning system was very noisy during the night.
iMac in the room
i liked everything about the hotel.
Location Location Location Patio Breakfast
Couldn't sit out on patio after 10pm?! Such a shame when it was such a lovely warm evening that we couldnt sit out with our drinks after being at an event next door for the evening.
Good location Not expensive parking iMac in the room Not bad if you are here for business only
Noisy A/C Not good soundproofing of rooms Mediocre breakfast (good variety, but not good quality) Uncomfortable beds (very soft and cramped mattress) Ugly/ not inspiring common areas (lobby, staircase, breakfast area) You can tell this is an old hotel, even if renovated
Location and amenities
Bed too hard
