iMac in room to use, also doubles as a TV. Food was excelent. The service of the food was a little slow. Limited parking and it is charged in addition to your room.

The car parking, there were signs telling me that there may be a charge for parking, however I did ask if it would be ok to leave my car in the car park until lunch time the day of departure I was told that was not a problem, It was not until I itemised my bill I noticed I had been charged £10.00 for parking, I had thought that charge applied for full days additional parking

We chose the Mint for our one night stay for a friends birthday, which was held down at the Harbourside. We had a 5th floor room at the back overlooking a small park area, which is what we had requested so full marks to the staff. The room wasn't huge but adequate and was well equipped with some nice touches incl a variety of interesting snack goodies. I would use the Mint in Bristol again for location and room but not for breakfast. For the first time ever on a hotel break we opted not to have breakfast in the hotel because we felt it very poor value at £30 for the two of us considering we only wanted poached eggs and toast. Instead we stopped at Bath on the way back to Windsor and had a great full English, in a very charming and characterful tea rooms, for £6.50 each. I think hotels are pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable in terms of breakfast charges

Mostly a pleasent visit spoiled by one event On the second day of our stay (12th April) the queue for the breakfast stretched accross the reception area! In my career I have stayed in a range of hotels from the London Hilton, the Lancaster Gate and the Grovsnor in England not to mention many Post House and Holiday Inn hotels. Also hotels in Goteborg, Eindhoven and many others! I have never had such a situation! When my wife and I eventually were seated it was 15 minutes before we were offered drinks and it took the best part of an hour before we had our meal. For a Hotel ssch as the mint this was unacceptable! We received an apology when booking out yesterday (13th April) following my comment to reception!

Staff were friendly. Hotel room was lovely. Very quiet. It was difficult to find the hotel car park. It could be better signposted. Otherwise everything good.

Am handicapped, mobilty problems, was "thoughtfully" put into an adapted room; but whilst the position near the lift on the first floor was good, the adaption of the bathroom with the grab bars was not. I am a fairly broad guy, and the bars made the toilet very awkward to use. The one on the right wall should be moved forward.

No particular likes or dislikes. The hotel was clean, comfortable, modern and efficiently run and I had a good night's sleep, which was all I was looking for.

Location The fitness room was very disappointing in size and available machines. No sound proofing - I could hear the person next door/upstairs using the toilet. Quite possibly a one off but the shower was very disappointing - no warm water nor pressure. Also I think the breakfast at £10 for continental, £15 for full english is so exorbitant. I stay in Bristol regularly and consider that you can find much better places to stay for the same money.
