Location of hotel
Constant noise of trains leading to poor sleep
Was near to the subway.
The noise of the overground was really disturbing. The room for three was pretty small. Cleaning is not the strongest part of the staff.
Location and friendly staff
Don't be mislead by the photos The room I stayed in still had a faulty cold water tap - as previously reported by a reviewer It is noisy at the back but that's the nature of the location
close to the underground Easy check in Room.for.3 available Nice lady serving breakfast
no light in the bathroom 1toilet roll for 3people 2nights Staff or people...sleeping in the lobby sofas, seats and floor even in the.morning at 7.30 very off putting Lobby smelled of diarreah during breakfast and breakfast tables just in front of the toilet door
Intermittent ? water leaking through shower/toilet ceiling light fitting on to toilet and floor. An unpleasant and unexpected type of shower ?
Mildew on shower curtain and on bath and bathroom floor Train line 20 ft from window, room shakes with passing trains. Turned away at 1305 because "check in is 1400" Showed to room by reception staff, got there to a pile of dirty sheets and towel keeping door open and bathroom light not working. Musty smell.
The hotel is located right next to the Bethnal Green station.
The carpet and the beds in the three-bed room were completely infested with bedbugs and/or fleas, not sure which. During our stay we thought we were being stung by mosquitos but on our last day we did a closer inspection of the carpet we realized in horror what was going on. Had we realized this earlier we would have just left.
when I checked out in the morning.
Worst night sleep ever bed was like a rock Infact would of rather slept on a rock room was dirty. The Hotel is above a chip shop and you can smell it at night not the best smell. Would never go back again the place should be closed down the people who run it cleary don't know what they are doing. And I would also just like to add it seemed more like a hostel then and hotel. Would not recomed this plece to any one even a person I hate.
Located right by the tube station and close to Liverpool station made it easier to get to it after late flight. Managed to walk to central London few times so not too far from the center.
Noisy, train was right by the window and they go every few minutes even at night.
am writing these comments some 3 days later and still suffering from numerous flea bites
Location was good.
Not clean, dark, artificial lighting. Could hVe been a lot better.
Room was clean
Not welcoming Trains going pass room at night Bed hard
Location was good for Bethnal Green Underground. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. Trains do not seem to run from midnight to 4:20 am - no noise or vibration for 4.5 hours at night!!! Fast WiFi. They take Amex!!! The Bed had a very comfortable mattress.
Next to Train track - hotel vibrates and is very noisy when train passes - every 10 minutes. The price was too high for a hotel located right next to a train track. Payment is taken at check-in (probably in case the vibration/noise makes you leave early). Very dated furniture / carpets (thought it was kept clean as far it was possible). No coffee/tea making facility in room - only an old kettle, nothing else. Breakfast served at 8am - no good if you are going to work. Hard to find entrance of the Hotel - it is not 287; it is between 285 and the takeaway two doors to the right of 287. Lounge area - owner listens loud Arabic/Urdu music which drowns out the TV you maybe trying to watch.
Conveniently located for Bethnal Green.
Rundown. Advertised as a double but was two twins. Tube passed right outside window so got little sleep. Grim.
cheap Hotel, next to the Tube, staff helpful, relative central, nice park over the road where you can feed the friendly squirrels
train tracks outside our room at the back, front rooms facing the bus stops and main road, noisy, hostel type feeling, small room, hot and quite smelly
cheap rate, nice and quiet at night time.
very basic and dated room.
Friendly and helpful staff Free breakfast Outside Bethnal Green tube
Noise and vibration from the trains. Smell of food everywhere
Location and price very good
The hotel location is perfect - just a few minutes walk from Bethnal Green Tube Station. The place is also very clean, compared to others in this city.
The place was clean. 24hr opening
a kettle but no cups/teabags etc. no wardrobe. no plug for wash-basin. trains passing bedroom window 'til early hours of morning. poor breakfast/dining area.
Bed was very comfortable, room was reasonably clean. Breakfast was fine. An average accommodation very close to a tube station.
Neighborhood was a bit seedy at night. Upkeep could be better. Building shakes when tube train passes underneath.
- right near the subway - breakfast included
-right on train line - super hot room… need to pay extra for air-con - very old and tired building
The breakfast options were better than expected.
There's an overground tube line right next to the hotel, it ran most of the night. The bathroom was mouldy and there were none of the facilities advertised available - no tea/coffee making stuff, no hair dryers, no irons.
The guy who welcomed us was very friendly. The location was great for getting around
Note saure why so expensive. The room had a kettle but not tea/coffee/cups Breakfast was not good quality and special request not taken into account or really understood
Cost - it was cheap for central London Breakfast included in the price Room was clean Free WiFi TV in room
Cold water tap didn't work in sink in bathroom (the one in the bath was fine though!) Breakfast was slow - I didn't bother in the end Fixtures and fittings were a bit shabby
