For a city centre London hotel the room was a decent size with good facilities and made the trip a very enjoyable stay. |

We have stayed at the City Inn before and have always found the staff to be very efficient and helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel is always first class as is the decor. The only thing was the breakfast. All our full English breakfasts (there were 3 of us staying) were stone cold. |

The check-in, check-out process was a delight. Although the desk was busy the staff were cheerful and friendly. The rooms at the City-Inn are always well looked after and clean. The room facilities are very good for the cost of the room, particularly the imac with tv and internet. The breakfast on sunday, although busy, was organised well, and the cooked breakfast was cooked well. I especially like the location of the hotel, to spend a little time in the Tate on Sunday morning is a treat. I had an unfortunate experience with in the bar. The service was very slow and the waiter responsible for the table service was obviously unhappy at having to work the floor single-handedly on a busy Saturday lunch time. We left 20 minutes after ordering as we had still not received the drinks, we went to the cafe in the Tate instead. |

We have previously stayed at the Manchester City Inn so were keen to try the London one which is why we chose to stay here other than anywhere else - we weren't disappointed. The City Inn was extremely quiet considering its in London! We were able to sleep with the windows open rather than using the air conditioning. Lovely breakfast, great bar and in general the hotel was everything that we needed. Would definately return! The only downside for me was that you had to use the lift as there were no stairs other than the fire exits - for someone who hates lifts it was quite a major negative but it wouldn't stop me going back there. |

The bed was pretty comfy. The breakfast was excellent. The room was in good condition. The shower room was also in good condition being woke up by the phone ringing at 8am and then the maid coming in at 10am |

Quiet surrounding, proximity to River Thames, Apple media center in room, friendliness of desk staff and concierges, value for money. Closer proximity to tube stop would have been nice, but that was far from a gamebreaker. |

Central position -- with easy access to City facilities. Hotel has own taxi rank at front door. Helpful staff. Bar open till late. Only one thing -- the hi-tech TV/Computer is very hard to operate, even for someone familiar with computer use. |
