The scrambled eggs at breakfast, they were too buttery for my taste.

Warm cookies on arrival. Star treatment. First class service
having to leave
I came for a tourist visit with a friend and we really enjoyed our stay at Doubletree. We were greeted by friendly reception staff and given a warm cookie. The fire alarm then started to go off and it seemed as though none of the staff knew what to do but told us it was fine to go to our rooms. The lifts were down due to the fire alarm so we had to carry our suitcase up 10 floors to our rooms and weren't offered any help. The alarm stopped after about 15 minutes. The room was clean and the bathroom lovely. We used the tube station Pimlico on the Victoria line which was very central and only a 10 minute walk, lucky for us the weather was nice! Breakfast was included and there was a wide selection to choose from - great! Good coffee served also!! We ordered room service twice during our stay and it was delivered within 5 minutes. Check out was quick and we were able to leave our suitcases during the day as our train was not until late. When we came to collect them we waited in the lobby for an hour before being picked up and the staff were kind enough to ask if we needed anything and even brought us more warm cookies! Lovely stay. Would recommend and use Doubletree again.
There is currently building work going on next door and it wasn't the nicest of views from our window but that can't be helped.
The location was great, a little bit out of the way but central. The quality of the rooms and comfort are excellent.
I liked the ambience, the smiling friendly staff and the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel generally.
I didn't like having the same breakfast every morning and two fire drill evacuation and noise was too irritating. The wifi was a disappointment in the room.
The lady on check in was superb . Efficient, and helpful. Suggested we could use the Exec Lounge for breakfast as it was a bank holiday and the breakfast was being served a bit later.
Could not work out how to turn the fridge on in the room!
We were so pleased with location and how clean the room was. The ability to get into a room early was great. The cookies were so welcome, and the Exec. lounge was a real pleasant extra. You are our Hotel in London from now on. Dean & Jonnie, Harvest
A totally well run hotel service from arrival to departure was excellent.Staff professional, friendly, and helpful. Hotel ideally positioned for many tourist attractions Big Ben,Houses of Parliament,Westminster Abbey, the London Eye to name a few.
Upon arrival the staff was amazing with a warm welcome. They answered all my questions and were very helpful with directions to local areas of interest. I am still smiling ear to ear because of how hospitable the front desk was. I would recommend this place to anyone!
The location was great, just a 6 minute walk from Westminster Tube Station yet far enough away to be able to get a decent nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, the breakfast was great with a large selection ensuring there was always something that we liked. The bed was comfy and you couldnt hear any cars etc passing by outside even though we were only on the 4th floor. Overall an excellent hotel, I would definitely recommend and stay again if we were to visit London.
Breakfast was excellent, rooms were adequate, staff were very good, overall a very pleasant stay.
Wifi was really poor, struggled to get a connection most of the time
The staff were very helpful. The location was good and very quiet. Walking distance to Westminster. (Check out the Free Walking Tours in London they are excellent and easily accessible from this hotel). Would certainly stay here again.
Nothing - all was good.
Excellent location for seeing the sights of London, hotel was first class.
Free wi-fi. Good breakfast. Warm cookie on arrival.
Long walk from tube station. It was my daughters 13th birthday and requested if anything could be done special for her, and no one acknowledged request!
I liked the complimentry cookies on arrival but wud suggest an option of gluten free as 2 members of our party could not eat them.
after the theatre we arrived back at the hotel at 10.30pm but could not order anything in restaurant at it was closing.
Hotel was lovely
In a business area not good for nights out if you want to stay local.
Clean & modern, floor to ceiling window although view of a building site.
Small room, shabby bath robes. Not what I would call an executive room, although I was told it was merely the high floor & lounge access which made it executive.
Cookie on arrival Helpfulness of staff Executive lounge Breakfast Comfy bed
Not really in the Thames Building site and work being done next door Queen room was just a standard room Rubbish view
Breakfast Executive Room
Superb courteous behaviour of all staff. Cleanliness and comfort. Excellent breakfast.
The professionalism and friendliness of the staff exceeded my expectations. The modernism and cleanliness of the hotel - alongside it's facilities - was everything you would hope to meet.
It is situated at the back of offices on Millbank, in a quiet location. A short walk to the Tate Gallery or the Houses of Parliament. Victoria station about a 20 minute walk although nearby buses get you straight there. It is not immediately handy for the tube, with St James possibly the nearest at 10-12 minutes walk although there were always taxis right outside when I stayed (I just like walking). I nearly always stay closer to Victoria when in London, but I had a lovely room at a competitive price, so for my business needs this was perfect and will use it in future.
Very good location and quality that meets the expectations for the brand. Excellent breakfast.
The staff is polite but would not make extra efforts to accomodate additional requests. At check out we were not warned of the city being blocked for a huge cycling event and we missed to miss our flight by pure luck. Due to massive construction works next to the hotel we would recommend to book rooms at the highest floors.
