the easy to the city centre and bus and train links right on the door step, staff friendly. And a M&S across the road so you can stock up with food and drink. The room is small but its got what you need, its just right. For one night the price was ok, but i did find some B&Bs cheaper, maybe £30-£40 would be a great price, for backpackers ,walkers etc to take advantage of a room for a couple of days.

Good location, near the railway station. Just a short walk to city center. First thing I must point out it is the hygiene! It is disgusting that I found the toilet wasn't flushed and there are still dirty tissue in the ash bin! I really debt if the hotel cleaned the rooms? My requirement is low! The most important to me is hygiene! If the hotel is clean I can ignore its small size, poor facilities, poor service, etc.

Location and Cambridge The room had a broken tap,the tv was hanging of the wall, and only some channels could be found. The window did not close properly. The chain on the door didnt work. There was a hole in the quilt cover. On our preference when booking,we requested not a ground floor room...what were we given the basement room! The hall way carpet was filthy. Upon arrival it took 10 minutes of walking round the apartments tomfind any staff, none were at reception or answered when we phoned from outside. Overall the stay was poor and we would not stay there again.

Convenience to railway station cramped, could be seen by passers by unless shutters drawn, one tea-cup with instant coffee encrusted, only rolls available at breakfast were boring white ones

Nice and clean, good breakfast, and great value for money. 24 hour manned reception is a plus. A bit claustrophobic but OK if you are only staying for a couple of nights and just need somewhere to sleep. The carpet in the hallway could do with a cleaning.

The location was good and the breakfast acceptable. The staff were pleasant and embarrassed by the malfunctions I stayed 3 nights. The 1st morning I was there the shower didn't work and although they changed my room for the next night, I still couldn't have a shower before going to work. The Tv didn't work particularly wee on the first night. The third night, I got back from work at about midnight to find the window wide open and no heating. Eventually I had to go and find someone who kindly turned the heating on for me. The whole place now feels slightly grubby, dirty, and run down in a way that it didn't on the previous occasions that I've stayed there. I don't think it's value for money at all and I certainly won't stay there again

Staff helpful and smiling and convenient location but not noisy at all. Beds clean and comfortable. Rooms minute, shower small and head wouldn't stay still! No shampoo provided. Breakfast basic and cheap. (Stayed at Hamilton Lodge afterwards, 3 person room was huge, excellent full choice of breakfast and actually worked out cheaper on a special offer)

Great location. faucets and TV wall attachment were broken, room only heated by electric plug-in radiator. Extremely small and cramped. Seemed expensive for what was delivered. Common areas (halls) were quite dirty.

The receptionist was courteous and friendly. The place is a dump!! It had filthy carpets, a chair so dirty you couldn't sit on it, ugly marks on a wooden floor, a bathroom door that doesn't shut properly, used soap, cracked vinyl on the bathroom floor, horrible decorations, smelly, and a very univiting entrance. It was like sleeping in an old warehouse! Furthermore, it was grossly overpriced at £67.50 pounds (very small double room; we would not have stayed there even at £20 a night),. The management should be ashamed to offer this place to the public.

Excellent location. Clean. Free parking a bonus. Needs to be about £20 cheaper and then would compete with travelodge or similar.
