Location was great. in front of the guest house there is bus station where you can reach Hounslow Central Station 1-2 minute by bus. you could find open catering almost even after midnight.
In our room (number 6) hot water was a little bit problem in shower, But shared bathroom solved it during my stay.
Really close to bus/train Quiet and clean neighborhood
Basic, but served a purpose. Friendly atmosphere. Two stars is about right.
Near to the station. Easy to find. Off street parking. Staff willing to help with enquiries.
Showers need up grading. Not a dislike but could do with a bit of a face lift.
There was nothing to write about the place. Everything is basic and below par. For the price I found out I could have got something far better very close by.
Guest house was not like website photos. No extra bed as stated. Wallpaper coming off wall. Windows didn't shut properly. Curtains had holes in. Had to ask twice for toilet paper -no hand wash. Mould around shower and around ceiling. T.V didn't work and door to room was ordinary sapele door - not very safe. Pillows and quilt ere barely existant they were so thin. Wish i'd paid extra and booked somewhere else. Said free wifi but no signal in our room. If i'd seen room first i wouldn't have paid for it.
The location was good, a couple of mins to Hounslow Central. Breakfast was good however a long wait before the breakfast actually gets to the table.
Shabby appearance of the room/bathroom! Mould in the bathroom! Cabinets were not clean! Long wait for the breakfast to be served! Password for Wifi was changed without being informed on the 2nd day of our stay!
It was clean and reasonably priced. Location was what we needed.
The bed was old and slumped to the middle and so I didn't sleep well. I think they need to maintain the beds and bedding better. We were given 1 towel for 3 people and I was begrudgingly given one more when I asked.
Short walk from Hounslow Central Station . Handy - a few tube stops - from Heathrow Airport . Guest House is clean though a little run down . Reception and Check in are virtually all day .
Phoned once for some info. In advance of stay and lady who answered was not great with English . Young man at reception tried to get me to give up my double room for a single room elsewhere - no mention of a rebate of course ! - presumably so he could let out the double again to a couple - cunning ! Same young man at reception , given that I had a very early start long before the normal breakfast time , undertook to leave out some bread and butter and milk but did not bother to do so . I knew he wouldn't so I was not surprised ! Outside my open window as I tried to sleep on a humid night , voices went on chit chatting late - I did not like that - sounded to me like family voices rather than guests' voices .
Nothing Terrible experience, have to booked at nearby Travelodge for the rest of my stay
I opted to checked out immediately I was shown the room and was prepared to loose the first night payment but they were so smart to have put it in their condition of guest loosing total amount paid for if not canceled or modified 48 hours before arrival. The room given was very small and no fan during summer. The front desk guy tried and relocate me to another room which is bigger but still not comfortable as there are lots of sun flies and the beddings has some bugs that kept me awake all night. I checked out the following day despite booked for four night loosing all amount paid. Terrible, have to booked at nearby Travelodge
Close to tube and Heathrow airport. We could leave our luggage safely for the day after we've checked out. Helpful staff
Worn matrasses. No Wi-Fi in our room.
very tired old rooms ,, shower not working , English Breakfast has BACON from Pigs not Turkey and we eat Tomatoes Hot not cold , would never use this place again.. Should of hired a BRITISH chef and maybe thing would improve ...
Close to tube station and town centre
Wifi cut out constantly when we were able to get it. Fridge in each room old and very noisy. Chipped shower cubicle. Showers went from warm to freezing to scalding by itself. Incredibly noisy as on flight path to Heathrow - not to bad when windows were shut, but the room became too hot to sleep in. Uncomfortable beds. Hard, thin pillows.
Very close proximity to Hounslow Central tube station
Close to Railway station and town centre. Cooked breakfast included. Comfortable room, reasonably priced.
th,locatione staff,the food,free car parking
Location and price; breakfast was decent and nice that it was included. The staff was very nice.
Room did not seem particularly clean, and the toilet was a bit tricky to flush. Mattresses were very old and lumpy; not particularly comfortable. Between airplanes flying overhead and outside street noise, including people standing around talking, it was fairly noisy. I slept with earplugs so that we could leave the window open for coolness, since it was a bit hot to keep them closed.
Location, parking & breakfast
Room small & ensuite even smaller
Good, basic, no frills accommodation close to tube for Heathrow
Staff were helpful. I would certainly consider using this guest house again.
.Tea towl to dry yourself . dirty room mould everywhere in the bathroom .shower didn't work freezing cold water .Breakfast ends at 8:30am .Freezing cold room . £75 a night complete rip off
Friendly staff. Breakfast OK.
Booked as used previously and enjoyed our previous visit. Would definitely use again in the future.
Would rather have had bacon opposed to turkey.
all except the breakfast
the breakfast was not the best
Nice place with very friendly and helpful staff. Close to bus and tube stations. Although I put lots in "didn't like", in general I would rather recommend this place if the location is OK for you and you want to save you budget for actual holiday.
Car park was very busy, I expected that more spaces would be available. Was lucky to get a place. During mon-fri it was VERY busy. Since our main purpose was to visit London and spend time there, possibly this location was a bit too far away - 1.5 hours to get to Victoria & Albert Museum, 2 hours to get to Trafalgar square. This is by bus. About an hour if using underground, but it will by twice as expensive. Really needs some refurbishment.
