A very nicely run hotel; it was cleaned and good service at meal times. We would stay there again.
Good service, good location, good food.
Too near the entrance hall so a bit noisy. Hours for breakfast and dinner too limited.
view of the loch.
two beds pushed together to make a double. Room very dark thank goodness only needed it to sleep in.
As you are 2 1/2 miles from fort William, being disabled, it is to far to walk, however the local taxi company, organised by the hotel was exceptionally helpful with local knowledge and help when organising tours. The room was functional and clean.
I felt that the reception staff could be a bit more pleasant in the morning by greeting you when you arrive for breakfast, (staying in an adjacent block to the hotel). the breakfast itself could only be described as cardboard on the first morning, it did improve on day 2, however the poached egg was overdone and had to be returned.
Friendly, professional service, no request was a bother. Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Fantastic shower, comfortable bed and great nights' sleep.
The view from the dining room and bar was very good. The staff were polite and friendly. The hotel was clean.
The price in my opinion is high but this would seem to be the case for this area during the summer months
the food - excellent menu for evening meal and quality great. staff great
hotel could do with some TLC particularly in the rooms where the furniture had seen better days and dark wood is out!!
A staff member went out of her way to assist us in obtaining boarding passes for our next flight by printing them out for us. Greatly appreciated.
great location wonderful breakfast
Location and friendliness of staff.
Limited choice of food for younger children
NO SPORTS SHOWING ON TV BAR AREA
Very friendly staff, good food
Generally a very preasant place to stay, everything was of a very high standard/quality.
Wifi very slow, unless you got on early in the morning.
The lounge area was lovely and the views across the loch nice
A single room placed right by the reception and the front door meaning busy from 7 o'clock in the morning :-(. Staff not very welcoming.
Room especially shower excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful
Breakfast was cold each morning of our stay. Finally warmed up when I complained twice. All food in restaurant comes with chips and no alternative. Need fresh vegetables.
To fully appreciate this hotel you need a room with a view of the loch!
Good views from front of hotel.Great breakfast served by friendly staff.
Having booked 6months in advance we were disappointed to be given a room at the back which looked out at a large rock making the room dark and causing the light to be on when in the room. This made us feel it was not good value.
Lady in reception, dinner
It was very close to the terminal.
It was a very cold day in August and you had no help but to put on sweater in bed.
Location good (2 mile walk into Fort William) lovely walk at the side of the loch. Views are excellent. Breakfast is excellent and great service.
We stayed at Clan Macduff as a family ranging from 8 year old to an 87 year old and we all had a great stay !!!! There are no words to describe the views they were spectacular. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Fort William.
Nothing we liked everything.
Good views over the loch
A long way into Fort William 1.5 miles
A lot of space, nicely furnished.
No air-condition while there's not recommended to open windows (due to midges).
Room - large and comfortable Food - excellent quality and good servings Staff - couldn't have been more helpful Location - just about perfect. Fantastic views from the dining room
Wifi - very slow
Excellent views from the lounges and the bar, helpful staff, good breakfast and plentiful.
