not much, but the beds were comfortable. Most things.. The rudest staff!! ..An alarm went off in my room in the middle of the night, no apology. Creaky floorboards from the room above. The room was small. It was like a cell!! Very overpriced., I got overcharged with no apology. I will never stay there again. An all over bad experience |

Being on the 1st floor with sea view; good food in pleasant dining room. The cleaning of the rooms was done to a bare minimum - not good enough. |

Nicely refurbished hotel. Good room overlooking Douglas bay. Good location. No allocated parking - got caught with a £40 fine one day for missing expiry of a free overnight period just outside the hotel by a few minutes. Service a bit haphazard, e.g. room not cleaned one day out of seven. Restaurant not very special, although quite pricy, and again service not very good - apparently not enough staff to cope with number of diners. |

The location is good. The restaurant is good (but expensive). The room was a bit shabby with a stained carpet & chair covers, mouldy shower surround, evidenceof water damage on the ceiling, a missing finishing panel on the shower. The corridors were often full of laundry bags. The hotel was overpriced. |

Wireless service was very good, and management/ front desk staff very well organised and dedicated to their work. It seems there are only one or two catering staff who had no proper skills to deal with their assistants or the members of the public, namely in the breakfast team. |

the hotel staff were very helpful and made our visit there a pleasure, the rooms are tastefully designed to give a modern look and of course the seafront views are a bonus. |

The hotel was modern and conveniant and had all necessary requirements for basic needs and comfort. If I stayed here again I would feel it necessary to have a room upgrade The room was too small and too hot and noisy from an outside fan so it was not practicle to have a window open. The shower was far too small and i felt it was dangerous if the water got too hot because you could not mave back from the shower |

double room was very small and as we were put to the back of the hotel we were beside a very noisy system outside the window we asked to be moved but the alternative wasnt much better - the hotel would need a total revamp to include new carpets as they are definately not clean at all!!!!!! |

the location was excellent but plenty of other places to stay near hotel which are alot better, i would recommend staying at sefton or admiral house which are on seafront & alot better . we stayed at hotel as attending a wedding there. The rooms were very poor & need updating. The carpet throughout the hotel is worn & dirty. The food at wedding was awful but breakfast at hotel was ok. |

Convenient location. Good sea view from front of building. Carpets in corridors and stairs need to be replaced. Sea view room got very hot during day so was necessary to have all windows open at night, thus had to suffer disturbance from noisy passers-by in early hours. |

Menu was excellent and the food/service was excellent also The room in which we stayed was a little small but it was comfortable and clean and therefore served its purpose. |

Location excellent near to ferry terminal and shops. Room clean and well equiped good breakfast Hotel attempted to overcharge me on check out I was asked for £95 not the £70 which was the on line booking price fortunately I had all the paper work with me and stuck to my ground. They eventually relented and I paid £70 causing me a great deal of embarrasment! |

the restaurant was excellent. great waiting staff at all times. the room was very small. because we were staying 3 nights i booked what i thought was a good room platinum double. you could not move round the bed at all it was that tight that the tea facilitys were in the wardrobe. i also requested a smoking room and were not told until arrival that it was a non smoking hotel. also was asked what paper we would like delivered to our room daily. we never recieved any papers! |

Very warm welcome from the reception staff - I arrived before noon but was immediately shown my room - and an excellent restaurant with top notch food and helpful service. Room was on the small side, but fine for a single occupant (compensated for with a lovely big bathroom and storage space). |
