Very friendly staff and helped me when asked.
It was a nuisance that the Wi-Fi didn't work for 2 of my 3 nights there.
Great comfortable place , close to amenities,
Having a shower room at home I was pleased to see a bath , waited all day to have a long awaited soak , but no plug , couldn't get hold off any staff at the evening , to get one , aS gutted
Comfortable bed Free tea and coffee in room Good size bedroom and onsuite Good breakfast Good parking
Furniture and bathroom facilities were a bit old Carpet was a bit dirty around corners No toiletries provided Small tv (but i think this is standard in b&bs)
lady who booked my friend and I was pleasant
except the price meant not to expect much and was told we were given a double instead of a single room. but sorry room very very old with bathroom tile grout covered in black what looked like mould. Would not have been happy if i'd have taken a lady friend !! Make sure you find out what time breakfast is ! Sunday morning with a very long journey ahead my friend and I came down to find a dark reception and finding out breakfast didn't start till 9am First time I've ever seen breakfast start that late. Had to give it a miss so no comment on that one. All in all very low budget so be aware
This is a legendry hotel perfect for price
If u dont like it u dont like it. But u cannot not like it for as much as u paying
Warm welcome, well heated hotel, with super comfortable beds, the breakfast was yummy , cooked and served by a friendly young lady. The lady who runs the hotel was also very easy to chat to and very helpful. Plenty of extras in the room, finally a hotel that offers you more that 4 of those little milk pots. I will definitely stay again next time I am visiting Preston.
it's a budget hotel, with an above budget breakfast, what's not to like!!!
It was clean and convenient and an easy location, near to main Preston Roads
Location. within easy reach of town centre and frequent bus service.
Not much, cheap and nice breakfast.
Unable to get anybody at reception at night or in the morning so had to leave without an invoice. Hotel feels dirty, no power and intermittent heat in the shower.
Really friendly proprietor and staff. Clean room and comfortable bed - cooked breakfast was excellent - no complaints at all.
Clean comfy bed Spotless cutlery crockery tablecovers and a good breakfast It was good value for money and I found it by chance when visiting an unknown area.Staff friendly too.
No Bath! Hot water not quite hot enough.
The hotel was excellent value for money and the staff could not do enough for you. They do an excellent job for the market they are catering for
bed was clean and comfortable
bathroom and decor tired and dated lighting a bit dim
Very friendly and helpful staff, upgraded to a double room even though I had booked a single. Great breakfast!
Shower lacked power and took a while to work out how to adjust temp.
Very hospitable and family-style running. Friendly. Great breakfast.
Bed was a bit firm and decor/furniture a bit old - but very cozy, full of charm and great value for money.
I liked the warm welcome received at reception and the spacious room for the 4 of us. There was plenty of tea facilities in the bedroom. It was a quiet night sleep and the breakfast was great. The girls who worked at breakfast were great.
Carpet and reception area was a bit worn. But hey I wasn't sleeping there plus when the room next door used their extractor fan in the bathroom I could hear it. Sounds louder late at night
For what we paid the room was good. like most of the comments we did find the room a bit dated but had everything you needed. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast very much and would stay again if in the area.
Nothing really. My husband did have trouble with the hot water in the shower but mine was fine ☺
