Claremont Hotel  

Absolutely lovely. They acquired to my needs as I arrived within the evening and was even willing to accept my stay even if I arrived later than 10. Easy to get to. Great location. Just off the Mways ways. Local shopping complex with restaurants and a skip away from the country fabulous

friendly, clean and tidy

Getting what You need for å trip where the main ting about the hotel is to sleep there. Big rooms with good beds. Very good and friendly service

staff were very friendly,the rooms we were given was very spacious and beds really comfy.breakfast was good and staff chatty with us.would definately stay again.

Friendly old fashioned hotel with excellent breakfast and very friendly staff Good location for the centre of Preston and public transport links.

Some facilities closed ie bar . Could benefit from a little attention to detail fr some minor faults and a good deep clean.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Some of the rooms did not really accommodate all of my needs ie.no 'armchair' to relax - could only sit/lie on the bed (room 14). the other two I have stayed in have been good - room 3 especially comfortable - but still no armchair.

quiet, mostly comfortable, extremely clean and good breakfast! Good value for money.

We were in Room 15. It really, really needs some new pillows...the ones we had were so flat you had to pile 3 or 4 to raise your head at all. That's the only reason I rated comfort as "good" instead of "excellent".

Tired looking and could do with updating, the bathroom had a lot of black mould and this put me off.

Owner was warm and welcoming and the breakfast was very good.

It is in poor decorative repair and a bit run down. Shower gel and Shampoo in nasty little sachets and not replenished.

Dust on shelf in wardrobe and room rather noisy from outside traffic and folk returing home late. No lamp for reading on one side of bed.

Breakfast fantastic, hot plenty,a real english breakfast. Hotel a little aged around the edges but put that aside and it has everything going for it. Some wonderful grounds for a main road hotel. We were contacted the day before to ensure our arrival time. We were met on arrival.

The room we stayed in was very dated. The dull colour of the walls made it look dirty, even though it wasn'T. As did the green-olive bath and sink. Unfortunately, there was also no soap in the bathroom for washing our hands. No major issues or showstoppers.

Staff very friendly, kids loved the fat cat, beds really comfortable,was one of the nicest cooked breakfast we have had in a hotel.

Having to have b/fast before 8.30 in morning felt rushed.wanted to have a shower but wasnt very clean so had to wait to go home dissapointed with that.

good budget hotel, breakfast good, would have no problem in staying again at this hotel.
