I thought the hotel was overall very good value for the holiday we had. The staff were at all times excellent especially the catering and bar staff. The hotel was comfortable and in view of the weather the additional games during the day certainly made the trip more enjoyable. The standard of food was excellent and most enjoyable. The bedrooms were clean, tidy and functional. The only objection about mine was that we had paid quite a lot more for the same size of room as those on the same floor and that the difference in price for the added sea view was not really justified. I know also that a number of people complained about there being only one lift.

We enjoyed everything about the Hotel, the entertainment, the food was restuarant standard and the staff were very pleasant. The only issue we had was the position of our room. We were in the centre of the hotel and a generator was very noisy and kept us awake. Next time we go we will request a see view room, as my brother and wife had one and it was very nice.

The Claremont Hotel is ideally situated without being too close to the noise of the town centre. The staff were very friendly and on hand to help when needed. The room was clean and nicely decorated In the restaurant the food was excellent with sufficient choice to please everyone. The cafe bar was bright and plenty of room for everyone and the evening entertainment was fine A thoroughly enjoyable stay just wish i could have stayed a little longer. As a single traveller I hoped to do some readierng in my spare time but found it too dark in my room and ended up going down to the bar to read my books. I was looking forward to using the swimming pool but didnt get a chance to use it. Maybe if it was open an hour before breakfast and a little later in the evening after dinner then people who are there with work would have a better chance to use it.

a lot of regulars here - so that gives an good indication of long term standards. very good value half board stay. breakfast looked appetising. well presented on an attractive mobile servery rather than those awful industrial catering servers. I never eat cooked breakfast - but it looked good enough to eat! good choice of cereals (even skimmed milk if you wanted it!), canned fruit, fresh melon and yogurts. lots of cold fresh juice. at least 10 choices for evening meals; including lovely salads. I'm hard to please and I could have chosen 3 or 4 things easily each night. food very flavoursome. mass catering, done to a good standard. staff cared that you were happy, so that says a lot. don't choose the cheapest room and then complain about it. if you want a better qaulity room choose another grade. remember you get what you pay for. we took the cheapest deal for our first visit and were pleased. as we were visiting relatives we just needed somewhere to rest a weary head. the food was a bonus. this a fantastic place to stay in blackpool.

I thought the staff were v good food was excellent fully inclusive excellent and was very good value for money we realy enjoyed our holiday and would come again The only thing we thought could be improved was the entertainment room it was not big enough we only got a seat one night although from what we could here the entertainment itself sounded good

The Claremont was very clean, both dining rooms and bedroom, the only thing what is inconvient is 1 lift and 1 way of getting up and down stairs, also not many toilets only in basement.

All Inclusive package is excellent value. The restaurant is very good having your own pre-booked table, and several choices on the menu. All staff were helpful. The hotel could do with a 'tickle up' as some areas are very tired, eg: bathrooms, external paintwork, and entertainment room, which is to small to accomodate all guests.

Some of the guests staying in a large 40th birthday group were inconsiderate to others in the entertainment room, especially the young mother who let her daughter continually walk onto the stage area, even when the entertainment was on! Unfortunately that is the type of guest attracted by the all inclusive package.

In truth I felt rather let down. The food was sub-standard and not presented well at all. Coming on damaged silver trays ( remind me of our school trays 25yrs ago). Some of the staff were ignorant. Then they was a Norovirus going round, now I appreciate it wasn't the hotels fault. 4 of my friends ended up the virus and then ordered some fruit juice to be taken to the room, and astoundingly you charged them £2 as it wasn't within the All Inclusive. And for the all inclusive - well waste of time, The Lager which was Tennants was weak and flat, Midday sandwiches and soup was below average. Overall I won't be recommending this Hotel to my friends. Score out of 10 is a 3.
