Stayed at Clarence House for one night beautiful hotel with lovely sea views.rooms were spotless will definitely go back.
We had a studio room in the building across them road from the hotel but were able to use any of the hotel's facilities. Staff were very pleasant, room was lovely, 2 windows in a corner room looking out at different aspects of the seafront. Lovely hearing the sea when laying in bed at night. Short walk to the town through the lovely old town walls. Car parking available down the road at £5 24 hours or if you were lucky free parking close to the hotel. We liked the lace so much we booked in for a second night, this time in the hotel itself, nice room.
Hotel view of the sea
Separate building to the hotel complex The bed was a fold out camp bed The bathroom windows were clear glass The kitchen facilities were dirty The kettle had water from previous occupants - whenever that was The duvet was very thin for winter months, the additional blanket was poor. The room was either freezing cold or boiling hot Early check out times No hair dryer, additional bedroom items
Both a very nice and helpful staff and a wonderful location.
There was nothing not to like from our standpoint.
Knowing that it was my girlfriend and I's anniversary, they put confetti on the bed and give us balloons! We were very well treated and we can't thank them enough 5/5!
my single side sea view was excellent value for £32, we chose not to pay for breakfast so cannot comment on it. they were having a turkey and tinsel week end there, but even though we were not on the trip we were included with lovely scones at tea time.rooms are basic but clean if you want 5 star then you need to pay the price. would reccomend to friends as a down to earth hotel.
Nothing to dislike.
A lovely night away in Tenby staying in the Clarence Hotel, good value for money and will definitely use the hotel again.
Friendly staff, sea views and clean rooms - for the price you can't ask for any more, I would definitely recommend
no WiFi (there is the facility, however the signal doesn't reach all the rooms - unfortunately on both occasions I have stayed in this hotel I have been in rooms that had no signal - on the second visit we were only two floors up and immediately above the BT hub, however it still didn't work!)
5 minute flat walk into town beautiful views from hotel well decorated and clean welcoming, friendly staff
Very few easy chairs, none in bar area Shared table in breakfast room
We liked the price and overall cleanliness . Plus the location was excellent.
The bed was horrific and put my back out, noise from upstairs and downstairs easily heard in the room. Fixtures such as cupboard very antiquated now. Probably wouldn't stay again due to the bed alone.
This hotel is located right on the promenade and the sea view rooms have the most amazing view!
We loved our stay but would say that if you are looking for an ultra modern hotel, this is not it. It's a lovely cozy hotel with lots of charm and character.
Very helpful and friendly staff. I look forward to staying there again.
I didn't stay there for longer.
Location and staff very helpful.
Walls between rooms to thin so could actually hear them talking.
The single room was clean and comfortable, if very small.
The exceptional views over South Beach and Caldey Island Flexibility of being self-contained with a kitchen (stayed in the Carnock) Friendliness of staff Cheap nearby parking or free onroad parking if lucky
You have to be fit to get to the top floor! Furniture/fittings getting tired (g/f apartments seem to be getting facelifts)
Its location, seaview
No bed comfort, & it creaked of you so much as blinked, the floorboards also creaked, the cupboard door creaked window creaked, the "en-suite" however, didn't creak but was a modified cupboard & too small
location near the town centre near the beach overlooking the sea good service at a fair price . excellent value for a weekend break
was not a lot not to like. I suppose pets in a hotel is a strange one for me but eh who am I to criticise. no on site parking could be a problem during a busy time
location great views wonderful reasonable price
cooker wouldn't turn off wifi terrible sofa bed not very comfortable
Inability of management to deal promptly and professionally with a complaint. A ruined nights sleep caused by other guests behaviour at 2 am. The management told me this was to be expected in busy seaside resort.
We had to move rooms each night wich we were aware of but were misinformed by reception and the head chamber maid knocked and just walked straight in and I was naked needless to say I was fuming and her attitude did not help the situation either in fact I was deey offended
Fascilities and view
Location/in house entertainment and happy hour
Leaking window in room
Overlooking Tenby south beach; good value for single accommodation; friendly welcome.
Bedroom walls seem paper thin with resulting noise from neighbouring rooms, corridor, etc. Not concerned during day but can affect sleep and little chance of a lie-in.
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were neutrally/freshly decorated and very clean.
Lady at Reception very helpful on our arrival.
Bar more suited to elderly guests.
