Very clean comfortable beds. Excellent location, nice and quiet for a good night's sleep. Super breakfast. Loved the Bears.

Pleasant room centre of town, close to superby Cotswold country, friendly reception, good breakfast. The situation suited us very well. Given the dreadful weather the inhouse restaurant provided good food and shleter! Good value for money.

Extremely friendly staff. Nice decor and newly done bathroom. Really wonderful food. Sleigh beds in the single rooms were a nice surprise.

The blind in room 21 was poor as it didn't go up and was difficult to let down. It was also the wrong colour for an otherwise delightfully decorated room.

Not as clean as it might have been. Evidence of hoovering and dusting round furniture rather than moving it. Reception area needs brightening up.

Location excellent, architecture in the area, quiet area but only 5 mins to shops and restaurants. Nice bar and restaurant on basement, extremely helpful staff and excellent choices for breakfast .

Lots of stairs to room at the top of the building, but lucky to receive an upgrade to this room .

Rooms were cold during the night due to weather outside.

The hotel was very clean and lovely features. Staff was extremely friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. The room was very large with a huge bed. Bathroom was lovely. Overall a very good stay and would recommend

The hotel staffs were very kind. They helped us bring suitcases from the car to the room. They were also friendly to children. This hotel has a nice restaurant. We could be relaxed and enjoy the meal.

Very friendly staff. Good value hotel. Bar was quite cozy and is perfect for unwinding after a long day out.

Room wasn't great but this is probably because we booked the cheapest room available.

- Room & hotel was generally very clean, tidy & well presented. - Location was great, just a short into town and very close to brewery leisure complex (cinema, restaurants etc)

- Location of the room was not ideal. Right in front of reception & bottom of the stair means we were very aware of everyone passing, checking in, saying their goodbyes or having passing - on route to room conversations. - Bed. A personal issue and something I should have checked. I assumed with price involved we'd have a real double bed, not two single pushed, clipped or zipped together. One of these days we'll have a real double bed with no hard ridge in the middle.

The room was beautiful and it had a good off street car park (and free) which is extremly useful in a city centre. Short walk to city centre. The breakfast was excellent as well.

Although the food and service in the restraurant in the evening was excellent the ambience of it was a bit lacking. It needs to have a bit more Italian feel to it as it is supposed to be an Italian style restaurant. The entrance to the car park was a bit rutted which could cause problems if you have a car with a low ride height.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Worth visiting just to eat there. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent location.

Everyone was very friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent both dinner and breakfast. Room was well appointed, and comfortable. A clock would have been good. Nice view over the park from the bedroom. Easy walking distance into town and for eating places should you not want to eat in house.

We liked the fact it was an individual hotel and not part of a chain. The service was good and the food menu was inventive and very enjoyable. We liked the staff who tried to make our short stay peasant and welcoming.
