The room and room facilities were great!
Room was suffient & fairly comfortable. the ease of getting in to the city centre was great.
I requested a bottle of presecco upon arrival, didn't get it, not even a mention. Breakfast was cold & only1 waitress looking after all guests. room looked tired with black scuff marks & spilt drink marks on walls. curtains looked like they had been screwed up before hanging. Attention to detail poor,
Check out was simple.
The hotel could not meet my request for an early check in or late check out...which came at a cost of £10 per additional hour! The hotel was very dirty and unkept. The room was adequate but did not meet expectations. The room was way over priced. The bedding was ripped and stained. I was very disappointed with the whole experience.
The party in the banqueting suite was awful had to wait far to long for our food breakfast we asked twice for tea still didn't get any couldn't have bath water wasn't hot enough !
Huge bed, nice bathroom. Booked very far in advance so got a good rate. Fridge in room was good. Good size. Very clean and comfortable.
Lots of very 'springy' doors in the corridor so constantly slamming doors all night. Trendy shower head handing so low I stifled to get underneath it..I'm 5ft 2inch No breakfast included with is shameful and stingy for an expensive hotel.
Could not shower as no hot water when required. Food quality poor. Ran out of Orange Juice at breakfast. Scrambled Egg on Toast - bread not toasted!!
Ideal location for meeting my friends. Decent shower, spacious room.
There were just a few little touches that needed to be addressed - an empty tissue box, blown bulb in the bathroom, perhaps a colourful runner on the bed.... And I had to find the big towels in the cupboard.
Excellent room, everything you'd expect. Parking provided - very important in this location. A Thursday night stay was very good value for money.
Very quiet. Parking space. Centre of town access.
Cleanliness of building inside and outside!
The room was filthy . We had to switch one of the rooms cause of builders outside the window. The next am our room had sewage coming back up through the bath tub and toilet was over flowing, disgusting was putting it mildly. We complained at reception and they only knocked 14.00 of drinks off the bill. Also building work was going on internally as we were having breakfast with dust and noise everywhere. Shall not be going back thanks
The bedroom was comfortable
The dust under our table in the restaurant and on the window ledge was so bad we could've written our name in it. The public areas could've been looked after better
PLEASE AVOID THIS FLOPHOUSE !!! Staff completely unprofessional. Check this out ! I was asked to pay in advance for 2 night day without any reason.. and other guests were paying at the check-out ? I must assume they could not believe I had enough credit in my visa card ?! In the next morning, one maid knocked on the door carrying the new towels.. She was pressing the towels with her hands ??! 1st question: do you know towels should be ironed ??? One of the towels fell down to the carpet.. She bent down and after collecting the towel she left it in the bathroom... 2nd question: are you crazy ? Do you think I am going to dry my face with that one ? Breakfast poor and of bad quality. Uncomfortable bed.
Lights did not work in majority of room, reported to reception at 5pmwho said they would get it looked at, still not working when I left in the morning.
Room, staff , location, breakfast
Warm comfy room two chairs so we didn't have to sit on the bed to watch tv, clean and welcoming. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The sausages at breakfast could have been better towels weren't changed.
Room service wasn't good
Easy to find, located close to City. Free car park with ample space. Modern decor.
Room heating not working and unable to adjust (the staff provided me with a free standing heater). Bed sheet was blood stained (fortunately it was a twin room and the second bed was clean). Bathroom ceiling mouldy and mould around bath edges. TV faulty. Full English breakfast additional cost and not good value for money.
*The hotel is easy to find and has a free car park with loads of space. * The Hotel receptionist & bar staff were both welcoming and polite. *The rooms were very spacious , warm, with a very comfy bed and a modern bathroom. thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will be staying again
Nothing to like.
The travel cot supplied collapsed and another could not be supplied. The television was missing it's cable and we had no signal or picture. When we asked if they could supply a new cable they said sorry we have none available. The sheets were not a good cotton and were itchy. The management was terrible and service awful!
Free car parking Large room with dressing gowns provided Friendly staff
Think security on front door could be better at night
Breakfast was nice ! Thats it .
Well where to start could not park in the carpark as a function on we were not advised prior to arrival had to go in a side street ! Had a moan about this did get an apology and a room up grade ....if our room was upgraded i dread to think what my original was , carpet dirty , tap loose ,stain on sheets no dressing table chair looks unfinished paint work shoddy . When any one flushed the toilet next door pipes made a clanging noise ... Noisy also got woke up by people coming back i think they thought they were at home had a 10 minute loud conversation outside our room about meeting up for breakfast ...like i care ,not worth the £120 we paid would not go again to be honest only went because the premier inn was full !!
Staid here for 2 nights with a 3rd booked. The room was a very tight squeeze and the bed was very uncomfortable. The noise from the independent shower motor pump was loud enough from next doors shower to wake us at early hours and the fridge heated instead of chilled! Complaint made to staff which was palmed off and advised we should have rang down to reception at the time of the issues and not at the reception desk the following morning! This resulted in cancelling our final night and checking in to trusty village hotel which was the same price including breakfast and full use of spa facilities and only 4 miles further from our desired location. I will NOT be returning or recommending this hotel ever. The staff wher rude and really was not worth unloading our travel bag.
This was one of the quietest hotels we have stayed at. No whirring machinery etc to disturb sleep. Good, comfy rooms. First class breakfast. On site car park. Will definitely stay again.
Nothing to dislike
layout of the room colour scheme lovely quality bathroom
the shower was too hot and still could not cool it down, so the shower facility was terrible. did not enjoy a shower
