Clean and tidy but just silky things let it down. Fridge in room that doesn't work and when mentioned was pretty much told its a cool box?! Bulbs out, some sockets didn't work. Staff were polite enough but wouldn't go as far as friendly
The bed was comfy and the rooms were nice.
The room was nice and modern. I iron, fridge etc. New lobby area was nice.
Mattress was not great. Springs stabbed into you. have stayed in better for the money.
Large good value rooms Good bathrooms King size/superior rooms great value Reception and maid service good and flexible
Creaky floors and noise from other rooms. Absurd increase in room cost when only one left.
Bus stop right outside door for goind into city.
Food not served in afternoon.
Good location for our visit. Not noisey
Very large wedding at the hotel Car park very cramped because of this. Full english breakfast could have been better but the range of continental foods were excellent.
location, free parking, good breakfast
room too hot- couldn't sleep torn, shaby net curtain massive stain on carpet
Reception area and the bed.
Builders outside my bedroom and typical of modernised bedrooms the lighting was poor
Staff were obliging and polite, Restaurant was good, rooms were comfortable, location suited us because it was out of the city centre but only a five minute journey by car or bus which you can get directly outside Hotel.
I had friends staying at the same Hotel and there room was appalling, it put a sour note on what should have been a great weekend, Restaurant does not open on a Sunday and your only option to eat is to find a takeaway, not good after a Saturday night on the Town.
King size comfortable bed Nice rooms with plenty of power sockets and lighting options Inexpensive
Heated towel rail missing one of securing bolts. Remote didn't work
Not luxurious , decent clean accommodation for business purpose .
Convenient location, clean and quiet
Helpful staff, very comfortable bed, ample parking, quiet night. good breakfast.
Rooms were comfortable with fee wifi
Argument happening at check out when we arrived. Corridors and stairways littered with ironing boards, travel cots etc. very messy and a fire hazard.
The beds are a good size the bathroom are so nice showerwas a dream lol
The rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable
The sausage bacon and other items that made up the English breakfast. A real disappointment. I complained, refused to pay and was told by reception that there would be no charge. This was not reflected in my final invoice but as I didn't check when checking out and as I am now at home I guess it is too late to do anything about it.
Insufficient staff at breakfast
Large twin room - comfortable beds with good selection of teas etc in the room Hairdryer good, bathroom a good size and power shower efficient
One evening a rather unpleasant smell in my bedroom Used my perfume Surprised unable to open windows Room Does need some cosmetic treatment Metal edge on step leading up to Reception loose Staff didn't seem over bothered
Except for the fire alarm going off very briefly one morning at 5.50 the hotel was exceptionally quiet. At times I wondered if there were any other guests. The beds comfortable and had a series of very good nights sleep. Would definitely use again.
The cooked breakfast at times wasn't all cooked, the eggs were a little rare.
I liked the staff members, they were all kind and welcoming.
I didn't like the fact that the hotel rooms were not very clean, the bed was not clean as well, I slept with difficulty because my body was itching; felt uncomfortable with the blankets. the bathroom was not perfectly clean as well. we stayed in a double room, but there was always half the room snacks missing. Overall, there was a bad smell of something rotten. Not to mention the limited list of food.
The bed was conferrable
When I check in I went to have a bath but I had to clean it fist then I realist that Their was no plug. I stayed for three nights my room was only cleaned on my 1st night and also the room was left open the rest off my stay it was not touched. And when I was going to check out I trip over a hover that was left out bye one off the cleaning operatives. When I said to the cleaning operative about the hover she told me to look where I was going and that she did not need to out any cleaning in progress signs out.
The hotel is convenient for Birmingham city centre, has pleasant rooms and helpful staff.
Good location, decent sized room and friendly staff. Also reasonably priced and good range of bar food.
Room stocking/service was a bit hit and miss... Didn't take away used glasses from previous night, didn't leave towels .... or biscuits! Had to be asked on a couple of occasions.
king size bed is amazing
the price was £50 its now £63 for one night is ridiculous price should go back down
Breakfast was excellent
