the location is very good, right on the sea front and 2 mins walk from the harbour area and the main street. The Irish breakfast was nice with the nice sea view from the dining room window. The staff were pleasant. The hotel was comfortable and quiet. It looks like it was recently renovated. The room and bathroom were fine. Unfortunately we didn't have a sea view. I think only the lucky ones get the rooms with a nice view. The shower was very weak and hard to set. The bed wasn't very comfortable and was quite noisy. I think for €80 for a night I would have expected a bit more. There were no maps or other info in reception.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and plenty on offer. Very child friendly - tv room was a great feature with toys for the kiddies. Rooms are very spacious and the room we were moved to on our second night was particularly impressive with a seaview, jacuzzi and plenty of space. Beds were very comfortable, bed linen very clean and overall cleanliness of the room was excellent. Great stay overall, local to all shops, bars, restaurants, amusements etc. The steps at the front were a nuisance for prams - a ramp would be helpful (just a suggestion)!!

Great large rooms, beautiful sea-view, very friendly staff, whirlpool bath, good breakfast. Next time I go I will bring a little heater with me because the large rooms take quite some time to heat up.

Apacious rooms with good furniture & nicely decorated. Shower was excellent as was the shower gel provided smells great. The towels also smelt clean and fresh. Breakfast was faboulous. Presented very well and tasted great clearly products sourced were of top quality. Television was not set up to work and I could not get it to work also the freeview cable had to be plugged into the closest available socket which was 5 ft from the televison so it was hazardous. Unfortunately the heating was turned off from midnight to 6am so it left the room very cold at night. We had a baby sharing the bed with us so we did'nt get much sleep because of the cold and the cold upseting our baby.

Breakfast was good, the room was a good size. It did our job. We returned back about 1am to a very cold room and to be honest only that we brought a hot water bottle with us we would have been frozen. It doesn't help the look of the place with a derelict house falling in 2 doors away either :(

It's a little deceiving from the outside but we paid a little extra for a room with a view and spa bath and we thought it was beautiful. The view was gorgeous and the room massive and comfortable! The staff were really polite felt we could ask them anything nothing was a problem! My boyfriend from Australia and I'm from ireland and we are definitely coming back to port rush next year for a visit! More sunshine please

Good sized spacious room, we had an en suite bathroom which was beautiful and had a jet power bath which i wa so excited about as I wasn't expecting it but it didt work!! The whole B&B was cold it was warmer outside at 6pm that it was in our actual room, I asked for a heater which the woman was more than happy to give us but it never made a difference to the room!! We had no shower though the bath did have a shower head but the water was ether boiling hot or freezing cold!! Two out off the five spot lights worked in our bedroom same in the bathroom, the room also must have been recently painted as the were little paint marks over almost everything, and there was also sanding paper in the wardrobe and a plank off wood....
