excellent bed / sleep. Facilities - tea making / swimmimng Pool / bar
water leak from ceiling in 3rd floor corridor - but understand this was just unfortunate on the night of our stay.
Lovely room, very clean, comfortable bed, great facilities, helpful receptionist, booking in and out was quick and easy.
The room was very warm and couldnt find how to turn the heating down/put ir conditioning on. The service in the bar was very slow and the drinks were quite expensive.
Convenient to major roads. Good for an overnight stop.
The front desk staff were very professional, helpful and smart. Rooms were spacious with all luxury items. In the restaurant, food and staff were very good. Good value for money - recommended.
Bar/Restaurant very good Staff very helpful
Rooms looking tired, and VERY small.
spa was ok
dated, scruffy carpets, overpriced and terrible overpriced and poor delivery of room service menu
I liked the cosy double room I shared with my eldest daughter. It was inviting an ideally situated at the back of the hotel. Our room overlooked a green lawn which was nicely kepted. It was very peaceful know sound of traffic. The room was very clean and the bed had a very good matteress. The tea & coffee in room was very good. The facilities at the Apollo were very good. I swam in the pool each day & used the Steam & jacuzzi which was excellent. Top marks all round!!
The staff were easy to talk to and very friendly and welcoming.
the toilet flusher was broken and you had to keep trying to flush the toilet. The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working which meant that the room was all steamed up whenever the shower was used. The bin in the bathroom was also broken. Definitley not a 4 star rating.
Ran out of buffet regularly had to wait for it to be refilled. Could have had more staff on to deal with this.
Good location for Carfest 2014. Staff on breakfast helpful when we needed a packed breakfast before breakfast started. Bar staff were pleasant.
Bed was very soft and uncomfortable...hardly slept. Hairs found in bath and sink. Reception unhelpful when asking for bucket of water to clean exhibit car before car fest and didn't want to know about packed breakfast.
No breakfast no staff they were overwhelmed
Room was great service likewise and the pool was just what we needed. Recommended stay.
the helpfulness of all staff,
Excellent Staff, reception team was staggeringly helpful. Flexibility +1 hour of checkout without extra fee which was very appreciated. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will comeback in the future.
Was a bit difficult to get there walking from the Mercedes Benz car dealer. There is no footpath so you have to cross a very busy road and walk on the grass to get there walking.
a super hotel with quality faclilties with a nice feel about the place. i could find nothing wrong with either the room or staff. would recommend it to anyone who asked
nothing at all
first impression , friendly bar staff , cleanliness, over all looks a great hotel
Rooms are a little tired but not to complain about , no wi fi although i did get a pass word worst sleep ever , bed was very old and noisy, needs some new springs ,no good for honey mooners , complained to Nicholas at reception in the morning ,wasn't really interested, just said ill get it looked at if it wasn't for the fact i checked in so late on the night i would have asked to change the room, better response from reception would have avoided this negativity
Convenience of location to destination. Our stay was neither business nor leisure but a visit to hospital. Your questions need more options such as Other!
Complication brought on by staff not listening. We knew we had paid for room only but when we asked for breakfast and offered to pay separately for it, there was an unnecessary amount of confusion.
Rooms need redecorating & bathrooms need refurbishing. Breakfast poor
Gym, Bar dining, rooms, Reception Staff
Good Facilities, particularly the gym and Vespers Restaurant. Had a very good meal there.
The use off all facilities and how quiet if was being so close to busy roads.
Wifi signal was nonexistent.
The swimming pool and leisure facilities where good
The resturant was awful, extremely over priced. Our meal came to £50 for two meals and two drinks each which I wouldn't usually mind but it was not even as good as our local pub where we would pay £20 for that meal. There was lack of choices and when it came it was a small portion with no display and tasted so bland. Would not recommend the hotel resturant to nobody and also the breakfast was basic too.
Friendly staff and good food in Brasserie
Beds are small
Over all the staff were good, though restaurant and bar staff were excellent, very attentive and welcoming.
The breakfast wasn't great given the menu price of £15.50, though if you book through here it's £7.50 which is good value.
We travelled reciently from Ireland and stayed in the hotel primarily as a pit stop, as we had full days of actitivites planned with this hotel in a central point between Paultons Park AKA Peppa Land and LegoLand Windsor, therefore we left our room early and arrived back late, the hotel bar served food until 11pm which suited us great, the food on the bar menu was FANTASTIC, even our 8yr old picky eater loved it! The sandwiches were great and so so fulling! The bar staff were really lovely and friendly, they made the hotel experience for us. At the bar we sampled a local cider which was lovely! The bar layout was very welcoming and pram friendly. We stayed in a suite with the baby sleeping in the pram/moses basket, there was plenty of room for us all. (2adults, 8yr old, 2yr old and 6month old!) The shower in the ensuite was amazing and was great to have it seperate from the bath! We didnt have a hair dryer but having short hair it was typically dry before i got everyone ready to go! Would definately book again but next time allow extra time to avail of the spa and some R&R! Every staff member was very nice especially the young bar man with the bald head!
My only critisim would be the hotel pool, it wasnt suitable for the children as none of them could reach the bottom but regardless we spent a good hour&half in there having fun and tiring out the little ones.
