Bottled water in room. size of bed, though 2 x 4 foot singles put together. Spacious room and workign T.V.
The pillows were too thick and high on the neck. The bed was hard. The bathroom did not provide any hair conditioner.
Food Staff Room Spa
Room location was on the 4th floor right at the back of the hotel. No Iron. Tap constantly running in bathroom and poor ventilation in the bathroom.
the only thing was that the safe in our room did not work as it was locked when we arrived
Really enjoyed the Spa! Especially both saunas and hot tab.Excellent!
I had a full body massage. This was a very unpleasant experience for me.First, the temperature in the room must have been below zero degrees which made it very difficult to relax.Second, the massage table was freezing cold. And finally, it seemed the person was not putting too much effort into massaging either. Overall, although I had one bad experience three days at the spa made up for it! Thank you.
the bed was comfortable
Disappointed in the breakfast---the tea was lukewarm and the choice of food only mediocre. The scrambled egg was warm and watery
pool and spa vespers restaurant
flat beer in the bar
Good size room with everything you need. Comfortable bed.
Restaurant prices. Hotels should realise that not all guests are on expenses
Studio room was perfect. Bed comfortable and power shower was amazing. Separate shower and bath was nice. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice and fairly priced.
Unfortunately near a roundabout so constant traffic noise. There was a noise throughout the night relating to the pipeworks which did unfortunately wake me a few times. Could review the types of Vegetarian options on the room service list (was fine but would have preferred more options).
the waiter in vespers was excellent very helpful
the breakfast was dissapointing by the time i toasted bread my breakfast was almost stone cold
Convenient location, clean and comfortable room, very good breakfasts, pleasant staff and bar.
Could do with more milk for tea or coffee in room.
Room Not very clean. Unable to get any appointments for spa and had to go elsewhere. Servicing of the room wasn't carried out the next morning to any good standard staff seem to just put clean towels in and left. Breakfast on Sunday was mostly non existent so ended up just having toast. On the hole not a great stay as we were celebrating my daughters birthday.
Good price and friendly greeting on arrival.
Prefer double bed to be king size (when sharing).
Spa .swimming pool. Jauzzi. Lovely soft towels.and robes.lovely warm room.lovely hotel over all.
King size bed.but it wasn't it was two singles together.i am just clad we haven't paid £180 pound for that room.very dissapoited .plastic cups in bathroom.two pillows.other wise a lovely hotel.
Friendly staff Value for money
hotel was in a good location for our requirements.
I loved the sleep as the bed was so comfortable. Also, I loved the fact the room has super thick curtains on the window that it just makes the room so dark in the morning that you just feel like staying in bed :P
Well, the only bad thing I have to say is that the window was open when I first walked into my room and I found a few spiders so if you have arachnophobia or are generally scared of spiders then make sure to check the window out :P
I like the breakfast and the bar area.
Rooms were very old fashioned and could have been cleaner
The hotel was good for the price but the only fiwn full was the picture of the room was different to what i booked and there was no mini bar in room. The room service took ages to get to us we waited nearly half hour for some ice cream and when we did get it it was melted and forgot the bucket of ice which we had asked for too.
Was meant to have a queen bed which was 2 single beds put together and u ciuld feel the gap where one was higher than the other and no air con and thus has been the only hotel we gave stayed in that didnt have chocolate cake the only thing they did was a brownie with nuts in.
We went for the food and were not disappointed. Ate in Vespers, Brasserie, Library Bar and had breakfast. All top notch. Our Ambassador room was spacious and comfortable. The spa was good and we enjoyed that. Lovely staff throughout -although much under pressure.
We would have like slippers as well as robes for walking through the hotel to the spa. Seemingly you only get those if you have a treatment. The entrance area to the spa was very poor with cleaning materials and a bike stored in plain sight. Carpet very mucky outside the changing rooms. Staff seemed individually great but not working as a team and service was patchy. We were party to some confusing interactions between staff and although we weren't on a package deal we kept being told we had to pay extra for this or that. that took a bit of specialness off it all but it became part of the weekend's experience in the end.
Bar and Brasserie was very cold. Tried 2 largers and both was flat. Seiously needs re vamping
The food was very good Very helpful staff
The mattress was very soft
Location, ease of parking, Oh and the breakfast.. Room was clean and adequate for our needs.
Room cramped and a little dated..
room space Facilities Wifi connection Breakfast if you prefer it to be English
