location, tidy room (very small though) with bathroom and balcony, wifi
very small if you intend to stay longer, hairdryer didn't work, tv screen very small
Lovely comfortable beds, very clean rooms.
Small breakfast table and small breakfast room.
Ridiculously small bedroom and bathroom. Oversized people avoid. No storage space. You live out of your suitcase. Overpriced. Breakfast room cramped, usually crowded.
Location and cleanliness. Staff were very helpful.
2 flights of stairs to get to room, although the staff helped with bags. Also, breakfast room was cramped.
Cleanliness and location. Breakfast was good. Would definately stay again
Squeeky floor boards
I liked the location of the hotel, and also the price was fair enough. the breakfast was good too
I didn't like the room, it was in the basement and just next to the dinning room. second was the double bed room included in the room while we ordered 4 single beds.
Table lamp did not work for two days. Light was dimed to work with Lap top. No table and no chair in the room. Adjusting hot water shower was a 15 minutes task.
As ststed above.
Close to Hyde Park and other London attractions. Clean rooms and had a well supplied tea cart in the room. People at the front desk very helpful when asking about Local eateries..also they helped my mother inlaw carry her bags up three flights of stairs.
With four people in a room, we were climbing over each other...tight quarters.
Room on the street side => noisy
Location great! Value for money very good.
Breakfast could be more diverse.
breakfast very good/lots of choice/polite staff. beds comfortable. bathroom very clean.
The location was really convenient and I felt like I had a true London experience with the style of the building.
I would have preferred a room upstairs rather than in the dungeon.
Great location Lovely room with balcony Friendly reception staff
The bathroom and tv.
Shower controls not able to adjust temperature and was really hot.Breakfast room too small and dark.
Friendly staff and good breakfast included in room rate good location close to Paddington station
Room was small as was the ensuite but acceptable for the price
Very convenient location for trains, tube, restaurants. Nice clean place to stay, with very nice staff. Good breakfast selection.
The breakfast room is too small, cramped.
Location excellent near Paddington. Staff friendly, room cleaned every day. Across the street from Monkey Puzzle Pub which was also good to excellent. Wifi was good and free breakfast was good, but in a small room.
Room small but we only used it for sleeping. Bathroom also small, but clean. No bar or restaurant, but Pub right across the street. Breakfast could get crowded as it was in a small room.
Top floor location, had to walk a lot of stairs!
Staff were very friendly. The location of the hotel was very good being near Paddington Station and a reasonable walk to the west end. Clean bedding and towels, large screen television, overall cleanliness was excellent. In the double room there was no traffic noise so try to book at the back of the hotel.
We were told on arrival that we were to be given a family room for two nights and then the double one we booked. This meant repacking but it wasn't a big problem. The family room was very noisy with traffic using the road all night and the single glazed windows were a poor fit. The TV in this room was supplied with a universal remote control and no channel guide was available. Also I touched a button on it and lost the signal which took me an hour to get back. The double room's TV had the proper Sony remote with it but the channel guide was not in order and an hour out. The rooms are advertised with bathrooms but they are shower rooms and the one in the double room is particularly small and when sat on the toilet you legs are under the sink. Okay for me but for a large person it would be a problem. We were on the top floor and had to negotiate several flights is steep stairs and there was no lift , fine for us but anyone with a disability would not be able to use them.
The room was small but clean, the shower room was a joke, the sink was too small for my husband to shave in but the plug was broken so he couldn't fill the bowl anyway. Guests were packed into the breakfast room like sardines but the breakfast was not too bad
Location helpful staff
very small room
Good location near Paddington underground Comfortable bed
Ensuite small Shower ...tiny Dining room very cramped and breakfast just ok
Close to Paddington station so convenient to get to Heathrow.
Cramped rooms. Microscopic bathroom. Stairs were difficult with bags as there was no lift. Wasps in the stairway. Noise through the walls from other guests. Area around had lots of garbage in the streets.
The position meant we could walk and explore London very easily. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the kitchen staff busy and efficient. I liked the provision of scrambled eggs and also fresh fruit for breakfast.
The croissants at breakfast were a little stale. The room where we had breakfast was very tiny and therefore a little crowded, however it all seemed to work.
