Deposit
50 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 14 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

We liked that it was near Battle and the Abbey. Also Haystings was nearby where we went to Smugglers cave, walked on the beach and finally visited the Bodiam castle which was magnificent. Excellent for a bit of history on 1066 battle of Haystings. |

Charming propietors who have refurbished hotel.Small (only five rooms).Reallly excellent food, freshly cooked with local produce. Rooms comfortable and tastfully furbished Lounge and bar area could be improved. Entrance to hotel does not do it justice. At first sight looks a bit "down at heel" but it is not ! |

Greeted by the owner and ofered cup of tea on arrival. Amazing breakfast. The 2 bed suite we stayed in was equiped with everything we needed and was totally self contained. |

The proprietors and staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was very good. The room was luxurious. We would love to have had time to spend longer there. Only one minor criticism - the electric razor socket didn't work. |

Claverton House is exactly what you need if you want luxury, peace and quiet. The evening meal was expensive but a dinning delight, canlesticks and fine fod, wonderful. The breakfast is to die for, best bacon I have had in a long while and plenty of it.Met with coffee and a warm smile , nothing was to much trouble, simply loved it. The house is in a very smal lane and not easy to find. The turn out onto the A21 is scary but once you have found the place and done it a couple of times it gets easier. |

The hospitality received by ourselves was outstanding. We had our 2 year old toddler with us, which was obviously challenging(!), but our hosts were very accommodating and nothing was a problem. |
