This delightful hotel, situated just off of the A14, is within easy driving distance of Ipswich town centre. Our beautifully furnished bedrooms offer relaxing comfort at the end of a busy day. The hotel is fully air conditioned. Family rooms are available, together with cots and highchairs if required. Most rooms offer delightful views over the village or our large gardens. The bridal suite is most attractive with an elegant four-poster bed. Our standard of cuisine is equally high, as is our selection of fine wines and liqueurs. The room. Comfortable. Being woken twice in early hours by accidental fire alarm going off. Not good when after working late n trying get as much rest before starting a new working

friendly staff. warm welcome good breakfast menu shower head very slack.when turned on fully,o It had to be held in place to shower otherwise floor & whole bathroom got wet !

For me it was a short holiday but wonderful and memorable.I liked a lot of things there, the peoples they was very friendly and populars, the silence and the clean air from there it was great for relaxation. I hope to go in a long holiday there because there are a lot of things to visit and it is really great for a quiet holiday.

The Hotel was virtually adjacent to the A 14 and was in the heart of a village. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. The food was excellent in variety, taste and presentation. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a little problem with the shower as the head swiveled around spraying water over the floor unless you lodged it against the shower rail.

Food was nice. If I'd have needed to swing a feline in the bedroom I'd have been in danger a bashing its brains out on the walls! Every, (and I mean every, I checked) floorboard in the few paces it takes to walk the room creaked like the were auditioning for a Hammer Horror film. Whoever was in the room below, I can only apologise! Shower didn't work either! Weirdly, didn't dislike it though!

The decorations of the rooms good And the breakfast and service very good they had problems with the heating in the room they put me in, But after some time of complayning the they put me in another room .

Staff accomodating, helpful and efficient esp "David" duty manager Breakfasts excellent - well cooked and tasty Twin room originally allocated was pokey and claustrophobic - dire. BUT staff immediately gave another choice which was very good!! No problems thereafter

The location was good and the evening meal was good The double room was cramped and claustrophobic, the bathroom was no better, the heating was poor. The wine menu is badly worded resulting in me having to pay double for wine. The Operations Manager was rude and dismissive when I raised the concern. Breakfast was a greasy mess.

Comfortable hotel with good food or low cost option across the road The hotel staff strongly advised we book a table for dinner. The restaurant was very quiet so this was a ruse to get us to book.

Your function room had been hired for a surprise party. The staff were very helpful and courteous; they helped to "spring" the surprise. The buffet was wonderful. We thought the breakfast should have been included in the price and was too expensive as an extra.

The food was the best I have had in my business travels. The staff were the most helpful and friendly. The room was larger than expected. Two very silly things which would not stop me going back but; the shower pole needs replacing as I had to hold the shower head in place. The TV was in a very odd position high up on the wall.
